Beam's POV

Forth hold on my hand ease up my nervousness a bit.

We entered the house and my sister came to us and hugged us both then she went to her room.

Dad is sitting in the living room.

"When did this start Beam?" Dad asked as we sit on the sofa.

"I... " i don't know how to start. I cleared my throat.

"Dad, Mom sorry i lied." I started.
"The day Forth drove me here, (i looked at Forth.) My car was in his shop. Because, someone hurted me and the car. But Forth and his friends helped me. It happened that those who did it left me tied up in my car on the side gate of the university where the engineers and agricultures."

They looked worried for me.
"I'm sorry i lied."

"I also lied that i don't like him. In fact i liked him the day i saw him in the university and i hate it. I even lied to myself." Tears rolls in my eyes.

"And now you know it?" Dad asked.

"I stopped lying to myself. The day he proved me his love. I reserved myself for him. And tried to hide. But my heart, it send s my feet beck to him. I get jealous, i get hurt, i get crazy. I even hurted him much. But i gave it a chance the day i came to him."

Forth's hands wraps me.
"I should have known" he whispered.

"Now you know." I said.

"When did you start in this relationship or agreed to be boyfriends?" Dad asked.

"We have been acting boyfriends last few months and jumped into it formally just a few days ago sir."Forth catched me. I am teared up and i can't speak straightly.

Forth arm wrap my shoulder, while the other hold my hand.
In front of my parents.

"Forth, we have nothing to hold against you, can we talk to Beam alone.?" Mom said.

I am ready to be scolded.

"No maam i am sorry with his present state i cannot leave him alone with you. I know you will not harm your child, but i promised i will be with him every step of our way. Like he stood by me, facing my parents."
He said.

I gulped. I am expecting Dad would be fierce. Or Mom will be mad. But when i looked at them. They are smilling.

What the hell?

"Forth, we are sure you love our son, the day you called us and asked for permission." Dad said.

"What the?" I mouthed.

"He called us, that is why we summon you both. And that day, we asked you if you love him or like him or have something for him. But you strongly denied." Mom said.
"Forth does not know the sumon was about it." Dad said.

Like me Forth is stunned.
And Forth called them for permission to what?

"That is why my parents told me make Beam fall for me in a year. Well i was planning for it whether they said it or not. And i am willing to go even beyond that timeline." He said smilling.

"Beam we have nothing against you and Forth. We just wanna make sure that Art story won't be repeated."

It is my cousin Art.

"What about Art?" I asked.

"Art was in a relationship with Mew, my brother." Forth said.

O my, it was Mew!

"That is why we give you a year, to learn your feelings for Forth. We wanna be sure you are sure of what you want." Mom said.
"Their story did not end well, they tried to work it out. To please the people around them. That begun a weakness in the three family bond. But we the parents care more about you guys than business, so we decided you choose whom you will love. And when Forth called.
Tension again. That is why we palnned a year. Whatever happens we are ready" Dad added.

I looked at Forth.
"He told me that, i gotta know what i want when i know it i will come to him and tell him."

I moved to get away a bit from Forth. I breathed.

The tense i felt since last night is gone,

"And here i am Forth, with my parents. I know what i what i want love.
I want you. And only you."

Forth was pseachless, but caged me in his arms.
"I love you" he whispered.

My parents stood from where they sit and hugged us both.

"Welcome to Beramee Family Forth." Dad said.
"I second demotion" mom said.

I laughed and cried.

"Hey, there is a hug party here, why am i not included." My sister pouted.

"Come on you" i said and she jumped on us...

"Okay, this is getting akward." I said.

"Sorry" Dad said.

Dad and mom kissed our heads.

"Beam if you hurt Forth i will kick you. Forth if you hurt Beam. Do not let me know, because i will kick you with him and my couisn Art." My sister said.

"Do not worry, that won't happen dear." Forth said.

"Promise?" My sister asked.

"Promise" Forth answered

And they give pinky promise. So teenager. But Forth knows how to please my sister.

"Have lunch here before you go back to the university." Mom siad.

"Mom, dad, Forth and i will cook."i said.

Forth nooded.

We proceed to the kitchen it is 10pass in the morning lunch is near.

I opened the freezer. Sea foods!
Forth stands beside me.

"Paella" we both siad.

And we started defrozing the fish, scallops, shirmp, squid and other shell foods.
Then we clean those and started cooking.

Forth stole kisses. I heard my sister chuckle. We both turned to her.
It is not her.
It is them.
My Dad, Mom, and my sister.

My brain is a bit focused on my work and i had a hard time putting my brain on this.
