Froth's POV.

Last night was the best night i ever had.
But i still have the rings in my pocket safely kept on the box.

I made  a plan, okay tonight. I will be brave and give it to him. And propose.

I asked again our parents about this and my parents said it is too early, but if i am decided then i must be responsible with my actions.  I am now 20 years old. I should be man enough. But they asured me they will always guide me. And decisions are for me to take.

While Beam' parents told me again  to be patient.  They know their son is not that easy to give in.

"Forth!" Lam shouted.
The four of them laughed.

I am in the hazer's office. Thinking how to put this ring on Beam.

I looked at them Tul saw me and tapped Max and Tew. Lam shut himself and walked to me.
"Did you ask him to marry you and you got rejected?" Lam teased me.

I grabbed a file of paper and about to smash him. But Tew stopped me.

"Wait have you read that?" He pointed at the one i am holding i put on the desk and start reading it.

The teachers complains of the freshman's behavior. I need to show up.
I placed the papers back on the desk.

And i am so damn mad.

I breathed hard. This generation is so disrespectful!.

I talked to Kimmon about it and he gave me authority to deal with it. I did not let Ming out of his line.

Beam texted me that he will not come home tonight because he will be with Phana and Kit.

I am more pissed now.

I hold tight the box of ring in my pocket.

I stood and walked to the hazing ground.

The freshmen slowly flood in.

The call for assembly is signalled. It is the sofar goat's horn, sounds weird but like a trumphet.
The freshmen rushly gathered.

I said to lead team to show no mercy today because of their misbehavior.

"Did we not thaught you respect?" Lam shouted.

They stared to whisper.

"Shuut uppp!" Max shouted.

I walked in and the silence is ear-wrecking.

I walk slowly and inspect the freshmen.

"Tell me who placed a pail of water on the prof's J. Door?"
No one answrred.

"Ming!" I shouted.
Ming stood and looked at me in the eyes.

"Who did it?"
I asked.

"I am sorry Forth i cannot tell you" he answered

I smirked.
"A Kitten will be disapointed" i said and walked away form him,

"No one leaves untill you tell me who did it."

"Tew, alarm their guardians and parents that will go home late tonight. Very late." I said.
And Tew run to his laptop and do as i said.

"Also inform the Kitten."

I know why Beam and Phana and Kit are together. On Monday is the Campus moon birthday. And Kit is planning a surprise.

I promised Beam.
But i cannot let this pass. I know they will understand.

I heard a groan from Ming. And he stood.
Then he roam around. Then they form in small circles.

We watch.

Ming stood,

Then they regrouped.

And found a circle of friends that never breaks their group. Ming sit with them.

I nood at Lam. Lam walked to that group.
"You are willing to scarifice your whole batch just to escape the wrong things you did?"
Lam said.

The group is silent. I think they are not guilty.

Tew showed me something that this group is making video and they accidentally took a vid of the three people who did this to Prof. J.

Tew Max and Tul walked to them. Tew pointed at them.

Ming and some of the freshmen. Encircled the group that did not re grouped. Who made the video. Like protecting them.

"If you get back on them. I swear this whole batch will hunt you" Ming said.

Kimmon came and i let Kimmon decide what to do with the three, his men got them.

"Go back to your line we are  not done yet!" Lam shouted.
He detailed the failed grade in Math101.it was hard really promise, but as an engineer, we must do our best to pass it. No matter how we failed we must stand up and pass through it again in different way untill we do it properly. Math is our second wife

He also detailed the unfinished assigned works. And the late in classes, simple improper uniform etch.

We do not take on this details.
But i am pissed off so we detail it today.

They review their manuals, then at 8pm they are dismissed.

I did not talk to anybody.

I checked my phone, no text form Beam.

I went home.

I  am sitting on my sofa holding the box. I opened it, i closed it, open and  close.
I went to my room and keep it on my study table it has a secret drawer.
Plan ruined.

Next day, iam even more pissed.
Mom texted me Beam is home. Beam's mom herself.

No calls no texts. I called him and texted him no response.

I decided to follow him home.

I called his mom.
"He is not answering me." I said,
"Can you come?" She asked.
"I am near mom." I said and hanged up.

I parked in their garrage.

Beam saw me just nooded at me, and gave me drink.
"I will call mom." He said.
"Beam i came for you" i said.

He sit beside me.

"Can we not talk?" He asked.

"What? Beam, " i said.

"I want space" he said,

I stood and grabbed my keys,

"Fine. See you around" i said.

"Forth," mom called.

"Mom, thank you for inviting, but i am not wanted here. Sorry i have to leave.
I love you Beam you know that i will give you everything. Everything you ask." I kissed his head.
"When you made up your mind. Come to me and tell me" i said and i waved mom goodbye.

Again i am on the road. I made sure i drive safe. I dont want to meet accident, and make Beam pity me so he can come back to me.
I want him to come to me and tell me he wants me, he loves me.

I reached home and curled up in my bed.

What did i do?

Last time i checked he asked me for his extention of staying here.
Now he wants space.

What tbe hell?

I am so confused right now.

Like i did, i will wait again.

I stood up and drinked water.

I opened the TV and watched. I cannot focus.

I looked for something to drink other than water. I am so lazy to go out.
I found a vodka, opened i drinked it directly from the botle. I being it with me in front of the tv. And eat chips.

Maybe i can sleep and when i do, i will wake up and see Beam's face.
