Siwani's POV:
The vibration on my phone woke me up. My mom was video calling me on messenger. I picked up the call, I was half sleepy.
"Wake up sleepy head!" My mom and my dad said as soon as I joined the call.
"It's just 6 am here." I replied lazily.
Both of them were together, they worked in a same office after all.
We talked for an hour and hung up.
I was shivering, as I stepped out of my bed. I tied my hair into a bun and went towards the window. I opened the window and what I saw made me speechless.
Everything was covered with snow. The ground was all white. There were no trace of cars in the parking. I was so happy. That wasn't the first time I saw snow but that was the first time I saw snow from my room's window.
In Nepal, I had to go to different districts to enjoy snow. Cause Kathmandu and snow were like enemies (lol the comparison was weird)
I did my morning routine and stepped out from my room.
"Good morning Siwi!" Anna wished me as I saw her.
"Siwi? Nice one!" I smiled at the nickname she gave me. She looked happy, not just happy very happy.
I went towards her and wished her.
Anna was having tea alone.
I went to the kitchen and poured myself a cup of tea. I joined Anna in the dining table.
"It's snowing." I told her, knowing she already knew.
"Yeah, It was from the midnight." She replied.
"From mid night?" Was she awake?
"Yeah, Aarav showed me." She replied and then hit herself saying she couldn't hide things. Both of us started laughing.
"With Aarav! Aahaa!!" I started teasing her. And she blushed.
Our conversation was interrupted by a call in her phone. Her brother was calling her. She excused herself and went in her room.
I was alone. I had no idea what others were doing.
Then I shouted when someone cupped my cheeks from behind. The hands were freaking cold.
Aarav started laughing so hard. I scolded him for doing that. I started shivering and I myself started laughing.
Aarav went to the kitchen and poured himself a cup of tea.
"You saw the snow?" He asked me taking out the cookies from the cabinet.
"How could I. You showed it to Anna only." I decided to pull his leg. I was barely holding my laugh.
"What?" He sounded confused.
"You know Aarav, I dreamed of something." I turned to him.
"What kind of dream?" He sat besides me.
"A romantic dream where a boy and a girl were enjoying the first snow of the year together at the midnight." I tried to sound natural.
"I know you're making fun of me." He said taking a sip of the tea.
I couldn't help myself but laugh.
"It means Anna told you. I wanted to tell you about the last night myself." He made a puppy face, which was so cute.
"She just said you showed her the snow. I don't know how. She went to her room to talk to his brother after that. You can tell me everything in details!" I told him and Aarav's face lightened up.
Then he started telling me each and every thing.
Both of us were looking out. I was hugging her to protect her from the cold air. And within minutes Anna fell asleep in my arms.
I took her to her bed and made her sleep comfortably. I turned her laptop off. Who watches cooking video in the middle of the night, eating ice cream. I forgot she was Anna. She does things which people don't even imagine.
Then I noticed a book under her pillow. That seemed familiar so I took that out.
It was her personal diary.
We shouldn't read others personal diary right? So I just kept it back. Anna always kept a personal diary. No one was permitted to read that, not me not Rushav and not even Sumee. And all of us respected that. We never tried to invade her privacy.
