Chapter 26: Yess!!!

"They said no! :(" Anna texted me.

Mid term exam was starting in two days. We were so excited to go out for Rushav's birthday after exams. I was afraid I'd mess up in exams due to excitement. Instead of practicing maths Rushav was practicing how to propose Sumee.

As I saw Anna's text, I called Rushav who was in the terrace, reciting his lines for proposal. He was over excited, as it was his first time proposing someone, Mr. Perfect always received proposals from girls. That day was our preparation leave. I was in his house to teach him maths.

I told him that Anna didn't get permission for the trip. His excitement was vanished. Without telling anything to me he dialed Anna's number.

They talked for few minutes and hung up. I had no idea what they talked about. Rushav started studying without a word.

I was upset than him. What'd I do in the trip without Anna. I was demotivated. I was just staring at the book.

"Let's go to Anna's house and talk with her parents." Rushav broke the silence.
"I'm afraid." I admitted. Honestly I was so scared to get rejected.
"You're not going to ask her for marriage." Rushav said sarcastically.

I gave him a cruel look while he called Sumee. We left after few minutes. We picked up Sumee on the way.

I called Anna as we reached her home.

"Hey Anna!" I said.
"Yes Aarav." She replied, she sounded so down.
"I miss you" I said.
Rushav and Sumee were giving me ARE-YOU-SERIOUS look, cause they had no idea what I was up to.

"I miss you too Aaru!! She replied, sighing.
"Look at the sky! It's looking so beautiful." I said. I wanted her to come to the balcony. I wanted to surprise her.

Within seconds she was in her balcony, waving at us.

"Heyyy Guysss!!!" She was shouting.

All of us went inside. Anna's mom was watching TV. She was so happy to see us. We met for the second time. She knew Rushav and Sumee too as they were friends with Anna from the long time.

"Isn't Uncle home?" I asked.
"He's in office." Auntie said, making us sit.

Anna joined us, with the brightest smile. My kind of motivation. She looked so pretty. Just watching her smile recharged me.

Her hair tied in a bun. She was wearing loose T-shirt and shorts.

"We're here to..." I said but Anna interrupted.
"To study" She added.

"Okay! study well I'll bring some snacks." Auntie said and we followed Anna.

She was watching "Boys Over Flower" ignoring her maths book.
"Looks like someone's studying so hard." I said, looking at her laptop.

"I wasn't motivated to study." She sighed.
"Me too." All of us said simultaneously.

We studied until auntie arrived with snacks. She was surprised to see us studying. Actually I was surprised we were studying lol. None of us said anything to aunt cause Anna warned us not to talk about the trip.

After snacks we boys started playing games and girls started manicuring. The typical group study thing.

I was focused in Anna's hands more than in the game. I don't know why but I wanted to do that for Anna. I never felt like that before. I told you, I did so many stupid things with Anna.
