Chapter 29: A Top Secret!

The manager guided us to the kitchen. The staffs were decorating the cake trolley with balloons.

The cake looked so beautiful. It was Rushav's favorite, Red Velvet.
"Happy Birthday Russu!" was on the cake, which was our plan.

The hotel arranged a team of musicians for us, which was unexpected. He said it was a small gift from them.

Anna texted Sumee to stay alert as we were getting out.

At 12 we went to the garden, singing Happy Birthday. Everyone in the garden joined us and sang Happy birthday. Rushav's face was worth watching. Thank God I was recording everything. The smile on his face was worth million dollars. My friend deserved that. He was not just my best friend, he was my brother too.

We made a circle around Rushav and started cheering for him. Rushav was smiling with eyes full of tears. We four had a group hug.

Then it was cake cutting time. Rushav wanted us besides him while cutting cake so we all sat beside him.

He fed the cake to everyone and thanked everyone.

After that,
"Sumee I have something to tell you." Rushav said, louder enough to grab everyone's attention.
Everyone looked at Sumee and Rushav.

"I'm gonna win." I blinked at Anna.
She gave me a cruel smile and told me to focus on recording.

"Wait! I've to tell you something first." Sumee replied and Anna smirked.
"Let me tell you first." Rushav interrupted her.

"Both of you guys say in the count of three." Someone from the crowd said.

"I love you" Both Rushav and Sumee said simultaneously and hugged each other.

The crowd cheered for them. Anna was smiling with eyes full of tears.
"Finally they're together." Anna turned to me and hugged me. I hugged her back, both of us were so happy.

Then we decided to call it a night.
The family came to us and informed us we'll be leaving at 5:45 am for the sunrise. After that all of us went to our rooms, as it was quite late. 

As we reached to our floor,
Rushav said he wanted to drink with us and we couldn't deny as it was his birthday. Rushav brought beers in our room. All of us were on the bed.

Sumee and Rushav were cuddling more than drinking. Only Anna and I were drinking. Anna was starting to get drunk, as her she barely ate anything in the dinner.

On one side I was so sleepy, it was already 1:20 am. We had to get up at 5. And on the other side, Rushav and Sumee were not ready to separate. I understood they wanted privacy.

"Let's go to your room." I turned to Anna but she denied. That stubborn girl was more stubborn in drunken state.

I carried her in bridal style, even though she was against it. Rushav and Sumee were giving me THANK YOU look!

I lied Anna on her bed and she slept asleep, within minutes. That was fast. I watched her sleep. She was sleeping so peacefully. Sleeping Beauty.

Later I set the alarm for 5 am and lied on the couch. All my sleep was already disappeared. I couldn't sleep easily on new places. I had an sudden urge to drink more. I got up and took out a bottle of beer.

I didn't want to disturb Anna so I went to the balcony. The Bandipur Bazaar was still awake. It looked so beautiful. The environment was so fresh and peaceful. I enjoyed the view with the drink.
