Aarav's POV:

I was blank. I couldn't say anything. My eyes were already wet. I was seeing mom after 12 years. Memories from my childhood were vivid in my eyes.

She wasn't changed not even a bit. The same glowing face. The same dimples when she smiled. The same chubby cheeks.

I wanted to hug her but at the same time I was angry at her for leaving me and dad. On the top of that Aarya.. Aarya called her mom. Aarya my sister? My mind wasn't working.

Mom was staring at me the way I was staring at her. She was already crying. I was confused, nothing was making sense. Mr. Shakya and his family too came to us. No one had any idea about what was happening. Aarya was looking at mom with confused eyes.

"My baby" Mom came to me and hugged me. I had no idea what to do.
"I'm so sorry my baby. I missed you so much." She added, as I was quiet.

Everyone in the party were staring at us and I hated that.

"Let's talk some other time." I stammered and left. I had no idea where I was going. I didn't even had the car keys.

"Aarav!" Anna and my friends came following me.

Rohan stopped my way and hugged me. I didn't let him go. I hugged him and cried.

As soon as we reached our home, I went inside my room. Thank God no one stopped me. I wasn't in condition to talk to anyone.

I took a long shower. Actually it was my scape from the reality. I couldn't sleep that night. I just kept on staring at the ceiling. Everyone who left me were coming back in my life. First Anna then mom. On the top of that Aarya. My little sister. How couldn't I recognize her 6 years ago?
I was missing dad very badly. I wanted to call him but couldn't. I didn't want to tell him anything before I get my answers. Hopelessly I kept on lying on the bed.

At 5 am I got up and went to the gym. I had to distract myself. 6 years back when Anna left me, I used to keep myself busy by working on my body. And it became my escape from reality. Gym became my second home.

After an hour, Anna came there. I tried to ignore her but couldn't. Her wet hair, and those perfect curve of her. Her smile was missing that day. With the worried expression she came to me.

"Are you okay?" The first thing she asked.
"Do I look okay?" I asked her sarcastically. I wasn't okay and I didn't want to lie to her.

Without a word she hugged me. Maybe that was what I needed. It felt good. I hugged her back. For some moments I forgot everything that was happening in my life. Maybe Anna was a good distraction than gym.

We were interrupted by Siwani's call in Anna's phone. Anna gave me a weak smile and received the call.

"What?" Anna look shocked.
"Okay we'll be there soon." Anna said and cut the call.

"What happened?" I asked her.
"Your mom's here." Anna nervously said.

Why did she come? I wasn't ready to face her. I didn't want to. It wasn't like I held grudges against her but it was just awkward. I spent 12 years without her. And all of sudden she was back. I was not used to that.

"Don't over think." Anna brought me back to reality.
"It's really awkward." I admitted and don't know why Anna smiled.
"Don't worry, everything will be okay." She held my hand and started pulling me. I followed her like a loyal puppy.

I was super nervous when we entered the flat. Mom, Aarya and Mr. Shakya were sitting in one couch and rest of my friends were in the another. All of them turned to us as they heard the door opening.
