I woke up at 7 am. I called Aarav as soon as I woke up. He said he was packing his bag. It was going to be a long day. I needed energy. His voice was my daily dose of energy.
"The competition starts at 11." Aarav reminded me.
"I know dear." I said and hung up as mom was continuously calling me.
I took a shower and packed my bag. Thank God, the costume was with Aarav. I had breakfast with mom and dad. I lied to them saying Aarav and my friends were picking me up. They wanted to meet them but somehow I managed the situation saying we were getting late.
The cab arrived at 8 and I got in. I was staring outside. Mind was blank.
*We've reached baby. Come soon.* Aarav texted me at 8:15. I was on the way. I ignored the text as I wanted to avoid his questions. I was preparing myself to convince Aarav's mom to go back to her family.
*Babe our performance is in the 14th.* Another text from Aarav.
That text made me a bit relax. Thank God our performance was in the last. I had quite a time. I had to reach the stadium before our performance. And I guessed our performance might be around 2 pm.
I reached the airport at 9 am. Aarav's mom was no where to be founded. I was so scared. Previous day I heard his mom saying the flight time was at 12:30 pm. I was running out of patience. I was waiting there as a stupid fool.
At 9:30am a car stopped in front of me. It was Aarav's mom and Aarya.
They were surprised to see me. Aarya came to me and hugged me.
"Anna I told you not to come."Her mom too hugged me.
Then I started telling her how much Aarav missed her. So many emotional things. On the top of that Aarya was adding how much she wanted to stay in Nepal. That was a plus point.
Thankfully she was convinced to go back with me. But she said she wanted Aarav to come to the airport first. She said she wanted to tell Aarav everything herself and let him decide if he wanted her back or no. I accepted her condition.
*Babe come to the airport right now. It's more important than the competition.* I texted him.
*Is everything okay? I'm worried.* He replied. Thank God he replied in a minute.
*Get here as soon as possible please. I'll tell you everything here. It's related to your mom.* I replied, I knew he would take the word mom seriously.
*Okay! Coming* He replied and I was relieved. I was relaxed.
We three kept on waiting. I was telling her about Aarav, so that she won't change her mind. I was happy. I knew Aarav would forgive his mom. Finally we were having a happy family.
One hour passed but he didn't come. I called him but he didn't pick up. I was so scared. So many bad thoughts were running in my mind. What if something happened to him in the way while driving.
I called Sumee and asked her about Aarav. What she said broke my heart.
"Aarav's practicing with Alisha in the practice room."
"Where are you man? We're worried." Sumee shouted and I cut the call.
I clearly told Aarav it was important than the stupid competition. Still he chose the competition. He was still in the stadium. I was heart broken. Anna's mom was disappointed too.
"Anna leave it! I knew Aarav wouldn't forgive me." She sound disappointed.
She hugged me and went inside the airport. Aarya was crying so badly. She didn't want to leave but I couldn't do anything. Finally they were out of my sight. I was no one to stop her when her own son didn't want her.
