The main motive of Another Go was to make people realize some things. We live in a generation where people choose ego over love and silence over communication. I've seen couples separating just because they don't want to make the first move. Many couples are separating because they don't communicate after a fight.
Communication is the key!!
If you want to save the relationship, there is no problem in making the first move. Not everyone gets their love in life, if you have some one please don't let it go because of misunderstanding and small fights. Talk and solve.
You can see what happened to Anna and Aarav just because they didn't had the proper conversation right after their fight.
Not everyone are as lucky as Aarav and Anna. Not everyone gets the second chance. Make sure you save your love before it's too late.
One year ago, I downloaded Wattpad just to read After Series. Then I got to know I can write my own story here.
With an aim of being a writer, I took my first step here in Wattpad. Being a beginner I needed to learn and I wanted to experience things that comes while writing. I wanted to know what it takes to be a writer.
I wrote the first draft of chapter 1 in my rough copy. I was not even sure if it was suitable to be posted or no. Neither I had the title for the story. It was a complete mess.
The story was about a girl and boy who meets after 6 years of breakup.
I wanted the title to be related to second chance. I asked my friends but none of them came up with a good one. Then there came a moment "Another Go" struck on my mind. And I immediately finalized it.
After the tittle I designed the cover with the help of some app. The girl and the boy and the new sun rising. I always thought about changing the cover but never met a great cover designer. If you want to design it please don't hesitate to text me.
Once the cover was ready I started editing the first chapter. I was a beginner I couldn't even find the errors. Then I posted it.
Zero reads and zero followers. A week passed but I didn't gain anything. Then I told my friends and family to read it. And thankfully they did. My readers slowly increased.
I regularly posted 5 or 6 chapters and then stopped writing cause no one showed interest. I was demotivated.
One day someone texted me in Instagram saying he wanted me to write the next chapter of Another Go. He said he enjoyed reading. I was so happy. Not just happy very happy. Then I decided to continue writing.
I started uploading new chapter once a week. Slowly people started reading it. They used to keep it in their Instagram story and I used to forward that. That is how my readers grew.
Then again there came a moment people stopped reading. Only 1 or 2 people were reading it. But I never stopped writing, I wrote for them.
Due to my classes I was not able to give my 100% in writing. So the uploading time was never even.
Then Corona attacked the world. The country was locked down. I had nothing to do so during that time, I started writing. Another Go became my top priority. My sole motive was to complete it.
And see, I'm writing this last author's note.
I feel like the person who wrote chapter 1 and chapter 50 are two different people. As a writer I have felt the changes in me. I can feel the progress in my writing.
There were so many moments I faced while writing Another Go. The happiness when someone commented and shared the story. Trust me that motivated me to write more and more. The excitement when I could write new scenes. And the frustration whenever I went through the writer's block. I used to pour my frustration on each and every one who disturbed me.
Whenever I look back at the beginning chapters I find so many mistakes and incompleteness. But still I am proud that I took the step. I will edit those chapters again. Cause someone once told me "Writing is always about rewriting." and "A good writer is a rewriter."
The journey was so great. I met super amazing people, I read their works. I learned so many things.
Due to Another Go I got a new family. I got to know about the people who really cared about me and my work. The people who were distant to me in real world are one of my favourite people now, just because of Another Go.
The person who always kept me motivated, Basu. Thank you very much for being the first person to read my work. And the texts you sent motivated me the most. If it wasn't you, I'd have given up on writing Another Go. I really have no words to explain your contribution in the completion of Another Go. Thank you so much.
One of the best thing in world is discussing about the fictional characters with your best friend. Cherry on the top if they are the characters that you created.
Pratisara, you are the reason I felt Anna and Aarav were real life characters. You gave life to my fictional characters. Thank you so much for all your love and support.
My dad, Parash dai, for always being there for me whenever I went through WRITER'S BLOCK. For reading the drafts and pointing out the mistakes. Thank you so much.
To all my friends and family who downloaded wattpad just to support my story. Thank you so much.
So many people started reading but left it in the middle, I hope you guys will read it all whenever you have time.
To everyone who read Another Go, no matter how many chapters. Thank you.
Those people whose names are used in the story are the people who motivated me to write (except the main 5 characters). I'm so sorry if I have missed any of your names. Maybe in the next story 😉
Trust me this is just the beginning. So many better stories are on their way. I except the same kind of support in my next works too.
Do read my other works "The few pages of my Personal Diary" and "An unexpected friendship".
Just waiting for the day when "Another Go" will be published in real. I need your support for that.
Have a happy reading!
See you soon in my next work.
Comment down how you felt about Another Go. And what kind of stories are you expecting next. I'm waiting to hear from you.
