( I suggest you guys to read chapter 10 & 22 once, In case you forgot how Aarav and Anna said I Love You for the first time. If you do remember that's great.)

Dad must have been out of his mind. I thought!

"Didn't you hear me?" He asked.
"You're just making fun of me." I said, sitting across him.
"No! Why would I?" Dad laughed casually.
"Come on dad!" I rolled my eyes.

"Well, Anna told me not to tell you this but I guess I'm betraying her since I want you guys to be together." Dad said.

"She just said she realized her feelings for you while avoiding you." Dad added.
"Should I propose her?" I asked.
"No! For now. Give it some time." Dad smiled.

From that day Anna and I got more closer. Months passed.
Every time we went somewhere I wanted to propose her but at the same time I wanted to take it slow.

Then there came a day I told her that I love her. In the college canteen. Sumee was absent that day. We had an early lunch break. I along with my boys went to Canteen. I wanted to surprise Anna.

But when I reached the canteen I was the one who got surprised. Anna was with a guy. I had no idea who he was. I don't know why but I was so angry.

"Hey! I'm Aarav, Anna's boyfriend." I introduced myself to that guy and the guy started laughing.

"Aarav! He's my English professor." Anna whispered.

What? Her professor? I had never seen him college before.

"I only teach in her class." Professor said. That was embarrassing. Then I got up to take the food.

All my focus was on her. She was telling something to the professor after I left. Maybe she was telling him I was not her boyfriend.

After taking food I joined them. And explained why I did something stupid like that. But honestly I just wanted to protect Anna from the jerks.

After professor left Anna asked me why I did that and I told her because I love her.

I knew she wasn't expecting that. She just smiled, well no she blushed. Finally I confessed. Silly girl didn't said anything but I knew she was happy cause she didn't revolt. I wish I could have recorded that.

After that i didn't hesitate to tell her  that I love her. I started sending her "I love you" in the mornings. And she always used to change the topic. It was not like she didn't felt the same, something was stopping her. And I was ready to wait for her. A month passed that way.

Then there came a day Anna confessed her feelings. The day I took her to my favorite place.

As you know I discovered that place when I was just wandering around after mom left. Whenever I felt heavy I used to go there. One fine morning I had a sudden urge to take Anna there. I called her and told her to get ready. That was the day we got to know our parents were friends. Dad was super happy.

The day Anna got to know about my mushroom allergy. She cried so hard after knowing that. My girl panicked a lot.

Then the moment she said she loves me. That was the best moment of my life. She confessed her feelings in my favorite place. That place couldn't have been luckier. We officially got into relationship that day.

After dropping me home Anna left. I was worried to let her go alone but had no choice.

Dad led me to my room. He seemed worried. I told him I was okay for I don't remember how many times. He was cursing me for eating mushrooms. But silly me was smiling even after the hectic day. Well not hectic, I got a girlfriend after all.

"What's making you smile?" Dad asked, making me lay on the bed.
"Finally Anna confessed her feelings for me." I said, trying my best not to blush. Dad's face was worth watching. He pulled me into a hug and congratulated me. And I told him everything.

We were interrupted by Sumee's group call. When I picked up everyone were there.

Sumee was alone in her room, Rushav was in the terrace and Anna was in the kitchen with her parents.

"Aarav? How are you feeling?" Anna's mom asked as soon as I joined the call. Dad came closer after hearing her voice. She was one of his best friend after all.

"I'm fine aunty" I said and smiled.
"Take proper rest." Anna's dad said and I nodded.

Rushav and Sumee were exchanging awkward glances.

"Okay! you guys talk. Aman let's meet soon." Anna's mom said.
"Yeah let's make it soon." Dad said and left the room wishing all of us good night.
Anna too went to her room.

"Finally it's just us now." Sumee started laughing.
"It was more like a in law's get together." Rushav said sarcastically.

"Wait! you guys aren't revolting this time." Sumee caught us and both Anna and I were unable to say anything.
"At past they used to shout even in the name of in laws, now they're blushing. Are you guys?" Rushav raised his brows.

"Yeah we are dating." I admitted.
"Since this afternoon." Anna added and they started cheering.

We had a good time making fun of each other. We all decided to call it a night and hung up. I was so happy. I wanted to talk more, not with the group but with Anna.

Without wasting a minute I called Anna.
"I was going to call you." Anna said as soon as she picked up.
"I can't believe we are dating." I admitted.
"I'm sorry for realizing it so late!" She added.
"It was fun waiting!" I said nervously, even though I didn't meant it. I just didn't want her to feel guilty.

"I love you." Anna said and I smiled.
"Finally!" I teased her.
"Aarav!!" She shouted.
"I love you too dear." I said and she sighed.
"Don't say too! It feels like you're just agreeing with me." She pouted.
"I read this in one of my favorite book and I couldn't agree more." Anna said holding her favorite book, After. I couldn't help myself but smile how she relates our real life to fiction.

"I love you Anna." I said.
"I love you Aarav." She replied.

That night too we talked until one of us fell asleep..
