Siwani's POV:
Aarav took a whole week to complete his and Anna's story. We couldn't spend much time with other team mates due to that.
Every night after dinner Aarav used to come to my room to continue the story. He used to tell until he feels sleepy. And sometimes in the car while going to our client's office. It took him a week to finish the whole story.
"This is my story." Aarav said, stretching his arms. We were in the car, Ryan was driving. We were going back to our office after meeting the client for the final preparation. Next day was the book exhibition, we'd been working on.
I couldn't say anything. Aarav had a very hard time. After knowing everything I felt very bad for him. All those years he must have really felt bad. Thank God Rushav and Sumee never left his side.
I held his hand and expressed him that everything will be okay. He smiled and nodded in agreement.
"Have a great day." Ryan said, as we reached office.
"Have a great day." Aarav and I said in unison.
"We're here." Aarav brought me back to reality. I was busy Wondering why Anna left him.
Anna was alone in our cabin. She was typing something. She was busy she didn't even see us coming.
"Where are Rohan and Nancy?" I asked taking my seat.
"They went to check the venue." Anna replied without taking her eyes off from the screen.
"You had lunch?" Aarav asked her.
"Umm" She replied.
Aarav gave me "WHAT'S WRONG WITH HER?" look.
"No Idea" I shook my head.
Without a word we started doing our own works.
"God! The location was damn good." Rohan said, entering the cabin.
"Exactly." Nancy said, taking her seat.
"Oh! You guys are back." Anna said excitedly, turning to them.
Anna was acting strange. Was she angry with us? She was avoiding Aarav and me.
After an hour Nikki came to us saying Mr. Shakya wanted to have a meeting. All of us went to the meeting hall. We discussed about the preparation for the next day.
After work all of us returned to apartment. The drive was silent.
We ordered dinner and went to our room to change. I was thinking about Anna the whole time. She must had a reason. As much as I knew her she wasn't a type of girl who'd cheat on a relationship.
"Why aren't you coming out?" Aarav entered my room.
"Can I ask you something?" I asked him.
"Yeah go ahead." He sat beside me.
"You loved Anna so much. Why did you let her go? I mean you could have met her later and asked her why she did that." I said nervously.
"We could have but at that age, ego mattered. I loved her but at the same time I was angry at her. I was mad at her for not making an effort. That was the age where everyone choose ego over love. Same thing happened to us. We gave up instead of fighting for each other. We were teenagers after all." He said.
The door bell rang.
"It must be food delivery." He said and went out. I followed him. Anna too came out from her room. I smiled at her and she pretended to smile.
Rohan and Nancy too came out. Aarav served food. All of us sat and ate.
"Here's your favorite." Aarav kept a piece of tofu in Anna's plate. That was so sweet of him. Even after all those years he remembered small details about Anna. Anna smiled and ate the tofu.
