Chapter 43: We laughed together, after what felt like infinity!

After few days!!

All of us were in the office. We had a meeting after an hour.

Everything was going well. We 5 were back to normal days. Aarav forgave Anna for misunderstanding. He couldn't stay angry with her. After that incident both of them knew they loved each other. It was just none of them were ready to confront. And it was fun to watch them behaving cutely.

Anna's and my bond got stronger. Nancy was on the seventh cloud as Paras was coming to London in few days. Yes, that meant Christmas was in few days! 

I had a positive feeling about Aarav. I felt like he would celebrate it. Maybe every pieces were coming together.

"Guys let's go!" Rohan said, picking up the files and all of us nodded. Nikki joined us in the corridor.

"What's the meeting for?" I asked Nikki.
"No idea! Maybe a new project." She assumed.

We reached the meeting room and took our seats. There were people from various departments from different countries. Few minutes later Mr. Shakya arrived, two guys following him with files.

"Okay! here's your performance evaluation." Mr. Shakya said, taking his seat.
"And the team that wins gets promoted!" He said making all of us excited.

"The evaluation is based on your recent project." One of the guy said.

"And the best team is team Nepal for the book exhibition event." Mr. Shakya proudly said.

Oh My God! We won! It was so surprising. I never thought there was something like that.

"You guys were here for 6 months, but now after seeing the response from book exhibition the company has decided to offer you job permanently." Mr. Shakya added.

We 5 couldn't even say anything. I was so sure none of us expected that!

"And one more thing! The company is throwing a Christmas Party. The CEO has invited all of you guys in his house. There will be people from another Branch as well." Mr. Shakya said and left.

All of us returned back to our cabin.
All of us were quiet the whole way.

"Let's go and celebrate our victory!" Aarav broke the silence. All of us agreed to him in an excited way. We were offered the job permanently, what's better than that!!

We Informed Nikki, David, Roberto and Ryan. It was so long since we spent time together.

That evening we had fun. No stress just fun!

Aarav's POV:

Everyone's excited for Christmas except me. I haven't celebrated it since 6 years. Situation is different now but still..
I know Anna still loves me and I too love her, but it's just awkward.

"Let's go." Nancy brought me back to reality. We were going to airport to pick Paras. Only Nancy and I were going as it was 1 in the morning. It was the day of eve.

I drove the car and Nancy prepared herself to meet her love.

"This Christmas is going to be the best one." Nancy turned to me.
"You guys have fun." I said without thinking anything.
"I thought everything was on the good terms." Nancy sounded nervous.
"It is Nancy" I smiled.

"Aarav, Anna is back in your life now. You guys are good friends. You don't need to feel guilty. Give life a new chance man! If you won't go to the church Anna will feel bad. Give it a go when things are in good terms." Nancy gave a long speech making me speechless.

She was right. I must give life a second chance. Plus things were going well with Anna. I should look forward to improve our relationship.

"He must have landed." Nancy said as I parked the car. We had nothing to do except for waiting.
