Lecture Hall

Monday morning was the start of a new week. I spent the entire weekend with Kelis and just left this morning to get ready for classes. Everything about us was falling into place and I couldn't be happier. I walked into the lecture hall with my bag on my shoulder and my mom on the other side.

"You had a good weekend I see." I sat my bag down on a random seat. "You can say that." She put her lips together. "Mmhmm Jackie showed me who your little girlfriend is with a little bribe." In other situations I would've been upset she was in my personal life like that but I wasn't really trying to hide Kelis so I'm not surprised. "What type of bride- anyways I know I should have told you. I thought you wouldn't approve of it because she's your student and your my mom but momma I really like her."

She shook her head putting her hand on my shoulder. "Out of all the girls on this campus...I'm so happy you picked her she's perfect! Someone that matches your speed, your career, she's such a sweetheart and she loves her family. Out of the kindness of her heart she could possibly boost your sisters career this weekend. She's a good one Ryan don't let her get away. I mean look at me and your dad. Just think about it."

Students started filling in as I sat down realizing that I needed to stop thinking about it and put my thoughts into actions and take a leap of faith. Kelis' voice caught my attention she walked in looking amazing as usually.

She looked over in my direction giving me a soft smile as I winked at her. Her and Emmi walked up to their usual seats as she sat down. I pulled out my phone sending her quick text.
