Viv, Ami, Logan and Patrick got a room together this term as well. We are across the room from them. I am glad I have a room with just Noah. It will be fun. I looked at my timetable online. Looks like Mondays are early days. Wednesday is the only day we end late. Surprisingly this term I have Friday's off.
I looked at Noah's schedule and its the same as mine. Looks like Friday's I will be binge watching Supernatural the most while doing homework. Still have volleyball this term too which will be fun. Noah will have basketball as well. We can cheer each other on. The last few days before term Vivian, Aimsely and I still go to the beach, play volleyball and tan. Its nice having warm weather all year round.
We talked about what we did during the holidays. Not much happened for them. They saw their boyfriends on and off, they had a great Christmas. Spent New Years Eve together. Over all a great holiday. I told them about my holidays. It wasn't spectacular. But I told them I spent it with Noah almost every day. He met my parents and I met his. Had a great Christmas together. Kissed at Midnight on New Years Day. They even given their guys the gifts here when they were all together. Which I think is really cute.
Then we came here. Our room is closest to the buildings front door. Our things are slowly coming into the room. Making it our own. A mix of him and myself. The main area is a soft blue, like the tides. Our bedroom that we share is bigger then either of our rooms originally from last term.
The bed itself is bigger too. It even has a canopy hanging off the ceiling which is neat. Needed, no but it reminds me of some fairy tails. Our room is a deeper blue. Our things come together. Two desks for when we need to do our work. My papasan chair under the window for when I want to read. Pictures all over the room. Noah has even drawn some more and hung them up himself.
Supernatural DVDs appeared on the shelving unit by the TV in the main room. So excited for that. I can see Noah will enjoy it too. Our last day of Christmas holidays and we go and hang out with our friends for the day. Playing games, laughing and having a merry ole time.
The first week of school was fairly slow. The normal of the teacher introducing themselves and explaining the class to us. It went by fairly fast but they gave some work for us to do. I was expecting that. It will be good. Get it all done fast.
The term will go by faster than we know and before long we will be going out into the real world. To help others. Will need to start looking for jobs soon enough.
The first month of school does fly by fast. We had our first game of this semester today. It was good. Noah of course was able to come and watch. We won. We haven't lost a game yet. Knock on wood. The rest of the day is ours. Vivian and Ami had run ahead and put their stuff in their rooms. When we enter the building, they stand by my dorm and look all weird.
"Hey you two what's wrong?" I ask opening the door and putting my bag into my room.
"Oh, nothing just thought we'd come by and as how you thought school is going so far." Vivian says. Smooth.
"You know how its going because we go to class together and see each other every day. What' really going on?" I ask.
"We saw Devon down the hall leaving his room. We didn't know he was here." Ami says.
"Ok and he is still our friend is he not?" I asked unsure of where they are going.
"Yes, but still. We haven't heard from him in months." Ami says.
"Ok well if we see him again don't act like your serial killers ok." I say to them as they leave. Noah is in the kitchen drinking some water as he watched us talking.
Noah shut the door behind them with his gift since they didn't shut it. Typical. He doesn't say anything. I sit down and put in the show. I also lay out my homework and start on it. It doesn't take me long to finish. I put it away and pause the show. Noah is still in the kitchen.
"Ok tell me what's wrong?" I ask him.
"Don't you think its weird how they acted about him?" He asks.
"Of course I do but they always have there odd moments ok. It isn't anything trust me." I say to him.
"Yeah but this was different. Jo, I know how things went down last semester. Are you sure you don't want to talk to him and see why he sort of dropped out of your life like that?" He asks me as we sit on the couch.
"Of course, I want to know but what's done is done. If he wants to talk, he knows how to get a hold of me ok." I simply tell him.
Noah left it alone after that. I know it bugs him, hell it bugs me that Devon just stopped and dropped us. If he truly wanted to talk, he knows how to. I am not going to chase someone down if they dont care enough to keep in touch.
The next week went by just as fast. Noah had a game as well and I got to go cheer him on. I got to be the proud girlfriend and cheer for him. His team won. I cheer loud for him. I am proud of him. Fliers started showing up for the Valentines day dance. Its on a Saturday this year. So, the dance will be the day before. Which should be fun having a dance on Friday the 13th. Noah helped out with the dance. So, I know it will be good.
I didn't plan anything for us for valentines. I do want to do something special though. Maybe make us dinner. I'm sure he will enjoy that.
