Maxine's POV

Alice patched both Toni and I up. She had also brought everyone else.

Betty, Jughead, Archie, Veronica, FP, Hermione and even Hiram.

Stood by the living room door were two people that I hadn't gotten around to seeing again and seeing them both warmed my heart.

"It's about damn time I saw you."

I weakly stood up as I smiled.

"Fred and Mary Andrews. It's so good to see you." I said as I hugged them both at the same time. Mary kept an arm around me, steadying me.

"What on earth happened? Alice didn't say much." Mary said as she helped me to sit down.

"Clifford and Nick happened again. Along with Dodger and his fuck head friends. They took Cheryl and Penelope and I don't have any possible clue where. I just want them to be okay."

"They will be." Toni said gripping my wrist tightly. "God, how do you manage getting stabbed like this every other week? It hurts like a bitch."

"I've had worse. You're lucky Clifford was nice enough to provide you with one of those." I said pointing to the ring on her finger. "Take it off when the sun is out and being stabbed by wood will feel like just a scratch."

"Enough chit chat. We need a plan." Betty said as she sat beside me. "We know Clifford is capable of some fucked up shit so we need to act fast."

As everyone began to discuss what to do, Hiram gently tapped me on the shoulder and gestured with his head for me to follow him. I stood up weakly and followed him out of the room.

"I said that I would give you, your payment but you never showed."

"I was on a date. Give it to me now."

Hiram reached into his suit and pulled out a piece of paper. "I was going to give you money but...I found this on Nick. I couldn't make much sense of it then, but now...It makes perfect sense."

I took the paper from him and unfolded it, on the paper was a drawing of blueprints of a building or something like that. I couldn't make much sense of this myself, how it makes sense to Hiram...Well, I hoped he'd explain.

"I recognise this place." He said once he realised I was confused. "This is the old warehouse by the docks. I did some...Business there. It was used for storage aswell as business meetings for my special and close associates. Anyway, the police were sniffing too close and this was back when I was...A...Naughty little boy so I had to sell up. An anonymous buyer purchased the warehouse from me and this is it. I thought it was a random drawing but the closer I looked the more I recognised and now...It makes sense. This is probably where Cheryl and Penelope are being kept."

I clenched my jaw as anger began to run through my veins. So many thoughts were running through my mind of what he could do to them.

"What do we do?" I asked handing him the blueprints.

"Well, if they have Dodger and his men then, we can't just go in, we need a plan. We need to draw the "security" away." He walked back into the living room and I followed. He got everyone's attention and began to tell them what we had just discussed.

"The Serpents would love to get their hands on Dodger and his goons." Jughead said.

"Yeah, so would I." Archie said standing up."

"So the plan is, Serpents and Archie get Dodger's men away and I'll go in and get Cheryl and Penelope?"

"No, you're not going on your own. You're not the only vampire in town now. I'll help." Toni said standing up. "It's the least I could do."
