When you've gone cold; colder then the world around you. You have to face the fact that you're greater then your demons. Your greater then what the emotions show you. You've got the light inside you just like everyone else. You may have dark in you too. But its your choice to choose which path to choose.
The one that'll make life great and bright
Or the one that'll make a life of paranoia and anger.
I've lived both these lives. With equal light and equal dark.
Half bad half good.
Half destruction and hate. Half healing and love.
But its not the light or dark that defines who you are. Its one you choose to let in that defines who you are.
If your surrounded by dark but choose the light. You are a fighter refusing with every fiber of your body to give up.
If you choose the dark. You aren't a coward or anything degradable but you have chosen to give up your fight. You have falsely accepted that nothing good can come of your life. So you've given up looking for the light.
Either way; either path. We are all human. We all make mistakes. Without these mistakes we'd have nothing to learn from. We'd be more alien then human.
Choosing the light living in the dark is the harder path. We humans tend to want the easy way out often choosing to stay in the dark in hope of a savior to come our way and pull us out.
But why wait when you could do the saviors work and pull yourself out. Being your own savior.
