Why can't depression have a magical cure?
Why pump suicidal teens with medication that'll just make them temporally 'okay'.
Why not use the government money, to find a cure to depression?
Trust me, it'd save more lives than wasting your time finding a cure for cancer.
Every 100 minutes a teen takes their own life. Suicide is the third-leading cause of death for young people ages 15 to 24. About 20 percent of all teens experience depression before they reach adulthood. Between 10 to 15 percent suffer from symptoms at any one time.
I've had depression since I was 8 years old... And then was later diagnosed with PTSD and... Trust me, my life is not a piece of cake. Everyday is a different battle against my demons, especially this time of the year... December.
I'm not just saying that I have depression for the funnof it... Talking about it for me, helps alot. And when I have someone to talk to about it... It finally feels like I'm not alone.
If anyone that reads this... Wants to talk... I'm always here. Especially when things are tough for me. It is always food to get your feelings out of your head...keeping them In your head for too long can result in anxiaty and trust me... Anxiaty sucks.
