They are seriously staring at me while I'm singing. Ang pangit ba ng pagkaka kanta ko? I asked myself.
"I didn't know you were good at singing." A middle-aged higher up at the company said, looking amazed.
"Yeah, but the point is you keep on singing sad songs." Secretary Jean said.
"Did I? I just chose the ones that I know. Stop giving meaning to it. Come on, let's drink!" Seriously, I'm just picking up random songs that I want to sing or songs that are perfect for my voice. No hidden meaning to it.
"Cheers!"
"Cheers for the beginning of our sucess!"
"Let's all get drunk tonight!"
"Here!"
We spent 5 hours drinking and we all left the private club in our drunken state.
Zhixin and I hailed a cab. I don't know why, but the driver dropped both of us at the same place, though we gave him our addresses.
"Zhi--*hiccup*--xin, the cab driver dropped both .... both of us at the s-s-same place. Why is that?" Tanong ko habang nakaturo sa bahay na nasa harap namin.
"Ahhh, you .... you're right. Haha but this is-is grandma's house." He answered.
We're both leaning on the gate, the two of us can't even stand up straight.
Umiikot ang paningin ko, ang init ng mukha ko at hindi ako makapag isip ng matino. Gusto kong tumawa pero inaantok ako, so wag na lang.
"Zhi .... xin ... Press the doorbell."
"Ahh ... yeah"
Lumapit siya sa'kin at pinindot ang ilong ko.
Me: La .. lakasan moooooo *hiccup*
Zhixin: *pinisa niya ng madiin ang ilong ko.* "There .."
Me: "No one heard .... it, i guess. Krrriiiiiiiiiiing!! Klaaaaaaaaaaang!!
Zhixin: You're amazing hahahahahaha KRRRRRRIIIIIIIINNNGGG!
Natumba kaming dalawa nang bumukas ang gate.
"What are the both of you doing? And ..." May narinig akong nagsalita habang nakasubsob ako sa lupa. Itinaas ko ang aking ulo at sinabing ..
"Blessed are you among women."
Narinig ko naman na dinugtungan ito ni Zhixin ng "Hallelujah!"
Nang maramdaman kong may bumuhat sa'kin, bigla na lang akong nakaramdam ng matinding antok. I smell something like cucumber. It's just a faint smell, but refreshing, then I fell asleep afterwards.
