Chapter 37 - Never her King

Yuan told me that this guy is Mommy's boyfriend. Tsch. The little guy smirked with that thought.

Magkaharap silang dalawa ni Yu Shen habang nakaupo sa kama at naka krus ang kanilang mga braso.

"Do you love my Mommy?" Cazpher asked coldly.

"I do." Yu shen answered immediately.

"Is that so?" He smirked again for the second time.

Yu Shen knitted his eyebrows, "You may know something, but you don't know everything."

"She's prettier than Mommy, so I will not blame you but ... Leave Mommy alone." The little guys face revealed his displeasure.

Ever since he learned that his adopted Mother is living with a man under the same roof, he began to put his people to keep an eye on them.

"I'm doing this for the sake of everyone, mostly for her." Yu Shen lowered his eyes and sighed helplessly.

"I don't care about your reasons, but at the very least, you should trust Mommy. You don't have to hide anything from her, she'll surely understand.

She's not unreasonable."

He doesn't want to see his Mommy hurt. He knew that Elyan is happy with this big man, she also cheered up after meeting him, so he tried to convince Yu Shen to let his Mommy know everything about his plan.

"It's not that easy. Everything is still complicated and I'm currently going with the flow." He explained.

Yu Shen's battle with the Eastern Mafia Association begun 2 months ago. No one knows about his plan, not Cassandra, not Zhixin, not Elyan, and not even Assistant Chen knew what was going on.

But unfortunately, this little guy got a wind of the situation. Such an intelligent and sensible kid.

"She's coming back, please do me this favor ... Do not let her know anything, I don't want her to worry and be scared."

"I'll try."

"Sure thing."

Cazpher laid down in bed, then Yu Shen put his hand on the little guy's head as if massaging it. They look like a father and son duo.

Elyan's PoV~

January 15 ...

"Xin-ge, I've finished all the presentations, the plan for the entire mall, the informations about the investors and everything.

I already turned over Hades to Lea, while Ms. Anderson── Kissy's Mom── is in-charge of managing the mall."

I said while trying to push back all the tears from falling.

The corner of Xin-ge's eyes are also red from pushing back his tears,  "Li-Little Sis, can't I poach you back? I'm even willing to give you half of my salary."

I poked him in the head, "Silly"

All the Managers, Supervisors and Board of Directors of Yīnfēng Corporation went to a private resto bar that very night, to bid farewell to me.

Tonight's my last night as their Vice-President.
