Chapter 2 - I've decided

At the top floor of a tall building.

"Good evening, team, this is our very first meeting. As I have told you, next week is the start of our operation. I want all of you to prepare the things you will need and obey my every command." Panimula ng aming CEO (CEO Lu Zhixin).

Ito ang first board meeting namin, yeah ang sosyal lang, di ko na expect na magiging shareholder agad ako. Biglaan ang lahat para sa'kin, at di ko maikakaila na nanginginig at kumakabog ang puso ko sa kaba.

High school graduate lang kasi ako, at pagka graduate ko nag apply na agad ako ng trabaho para mabuhay kaming dalawa ng mama kong may sakit. Dahil doon, di ko na nagawa pang mag aral sa kolehiyo.

"I want all of you to put your trust in me, and invest your time for the company. All of you have the same shares in this company, and my goal for tonight is to tell you the plans I laid out last night." Dugtong pa nya.

Sinabi naman nya sa amin ang mga plano nya and projects  para sa company and syempre, ipinaalam na din nya sa amin ang magiging posisyon namin.

"Kim Su-Yeon, you will be the director of Sales Department."

"Elyan Recreo Imperial, you will replace the Vice President. And I also have important tasks to give you after the meeting."

"Tachibana Ryu and Lea Clayford, the both of you will continue working for 6 months. Half of your salary will be given to Miss Elyan and Miss Kim for them to give to their families. As of why, they will work full time at the company, and you two will provide salary for all of you. Don't worry, it's only for 6 months. When the company starts earning, the both of you will be paid back immediately. Any problems or opinion?"

Tumigil ang lahat sa utak ko, at nanigas ako sa kinauupuan ko. Hindi ko na din alam kung ilang minuto o oras na ang lumipas dahil iisa lang ang umiikot sa isipan ko. Nakanganga lang ako at nakatitig kay President Lu.

Tinapik na lang ako bigla ni Lea at sinabing "Goodluck, we have to go now. Call you later, girl" at kumindat pa ang loka.

Pagkaalis nilang lahat, tumayo na ako at akmang aalis na habang iniisip ko padin yung narinig ko na "Elyan Recreo Imperial, you will replace the vice president." pero bigla akong hinawakan ni President Lu sa braso, dahilan para bumalik ako sa katinuan-- este sa sarili pala.

"Wha .."

"Are you okay? I was calling your name for almost ten times already, but it seems like you didn't hear me. Is there anything you're unhappy of about the plan?"

"Ah, no .. no .. nothing. I .. I" sagot ko habang umiiling.

"Okay, chill. Sit down first."

Pagkaupo ko inabutan naman nya ako ng isang basong tubig. "T-thank you."

"Now, Let's talk."

"Hm?"

"You will replace the vice pres--"

*Cough. Cough. Cough*

"Ugh, are you okay?"

Di nya naituloy ang sinasabi nya dahil nasamid ako sa iniinom kong tubig. Bakit naman kasi di muna nya ako patapusin sa pag inom? Halata namang natetense ako eh. Umbagin ko siya eh.

Bumuntong hininga ako saka nagsalita. "About that, why? I mean, why me? I'm only a high school graduate, I didn't have any experience in business. My previous job is serving customers, did you make a mistake somehow?"
