Chapter 27 - Gotcha

Lu Yu Shen's PoV~

Lu Corporation ...

"What did she said?" I asked the man beside me, wearing black robe.

"She wants to let them search for her." Cai answered.

What? Let those bastards search for her?

"Does she look afraid when she found out?"

"No. She even smiled."

*Sigh* Well what's new? This is Elyan we're talking, so this isn't something I should get shocked about.

Of all the women I knew, she is probably the only one who will still smile even if danger comes her way.

"Let her do whatever she wants then, but I don't want the incident last time repeat itself." I stood up and look outside the building from my floor-to-ceiling window, swirling the glass of wine in my hand.

"Yes, Master."

"Are they from her Father's family?"

"I'm certain of that."

I leaned against the wall and took a sip of my wine.

"I think she already figured it out. Back her up together with the other hidden guards under your command. Don't let those Celestial bastards found her until she's done preparing."

"Understood, Master."

He disappeared from my office right before someone knocked on my door.

"Enter."

"President Lu, these are from the branch on the Philippines. Also, President Lu Wei is asking for your help." Chen said.

"Mm. Put those papers on my table. Tell him that I can't be there personally, but I will send someone to help him."

I don't want to leave her side, especially now that she's facing an enemy.

"Got it. I'll take my leave now, President.

"Mm."

I drank the remaining wine on my glass and get back to work.

Elyan's PoV~

Ever since the period incident two days ago, mas naging close kami ni Kissy. I don't know why pero kung mag-usap kami parang matagal na kaming magkakilala.

May usapan kami ngayon na magkikita sa Eagle's Shooting Range, pag-aari 'yon ng pamilya niya at sabay daw kami magtetraining.

Naikwento ko na sa kanya ang paghahanap ko sa biological father ko, pati na din ang tungkol sa mga pinsan ko na naghahanap sa'kin para patayin ako.

I'm expecting her to be scared or the likes, but no, she got worried and told me to learn everything I should learn to protect my self, and I agreed.

"We arrived, Missy." The driver said. Siya yung driver na naghatid sa'kin nung date namin ni Ms. West, kapatid siya ng personal driver ni Ah Shen, about 40 years old I think.

Speaking of Ms. West, nasa Kirisaki Private Hospital pa din siya at hindi pa maayos ang kalagayan. Kailangan pa niya ng tulong ng mga machine sa ospital para makahinga, inoobserbahan din kung kailangan na siyang maoperahan.

"Thank you, Mr. Hayson, you can go back now." Sabi ko sa driver.

"I don't dare, or else, Mr. Lu will kill me." Biro ng driver ko, umaacting pa siya na gigilitan ang leeg niya. Natawa na lang ako, mas strict na kasi si Ah Shen sa pagbabantay sa'kin haha para na tuloy akong bata.
