Bet you weren't expecting an entry from me, huh? Well surprise, baby T is back in town.

It's been the most hectic six years, and whilst it saddens me deeply that I wasn't here for you in your time of need, it comforts me that you were surrounded by the people we both love dearly.

Our lives may have lead us down different paths, but I wanted you to know that you, Elena Gilbert have, and will always be one of my bestest friends. From the moment we fought over the last milk carton in kindergarten, to our first day of high school, to the last time we spoke and you told me all about how deeply in love you were with Damon, and how you now understood exactly what Klaus meant to me.

Though we've not always seen eye to eye, you are one of the few people I couldn't possibly imagine my life without, and I'm so glad to have known you, Elena Gilbert.

I don't know why I'm speaking as if this is a goodbye, but with the way things are currently happening in Mystic Falls, it very well might be. Either way, I just wanted to let you know that I love you, and I miss you terribly.

You also have a very hyper, borderline delinquent niece and nephew waiting for you to wake up from your 'Sleeping Beauty Slumber' so that they can meet you properly, and not just through pictures and my bad recollection of memories.

(which tend to involve us either drunk or pigging out on your mom's exquisite homemade pizzas)

I've never really written a diary entry before, so I'm not really sure how to sign it off. All I can say is that, if I am not there to see it (which I desperately hope I am), I hope you and Damon get the life you've both always dreamed of. I hope you are happy and fulfilled, and I hope you live.
