"What's the hold up?" Kol asked his siblings in annoyance as they all gathered on the front porch outside the safe house. "We rescued Nik, we escaped mortal danger, why are we not on a private jet to Saint-Tropez?" the youngest Mikaelson asked with his brows furrowed, "you can catch up on the last five years when we're on our way - I can assure you, you haven't missed much," Kol remarked as he looked towards Klaus.
The four other Mikaelson siblings rolled their eyes at their brother's antics. "Circumstances have changed, we will leave here soon enough," Elijah assured his brother as Rebekah nodded. "We have our niece and nephew to consider," the blonde added as she sat on the porch swing beside Hayley. Kol rolled his eyes as he lent against the banister of the porch, an impatient look on his face.
"Kol has a point," Freya suddenly spoke up, causing Kol's brows to raise slightly in surprise as the witch addressed her other siblings. "We need to put an ocean between us and Marcel Gerard as soon as possible," Freya told each of her siblings with an urgent look upon her face. Klaus shook his head in refusal, "we're not going anywhere today," the hybrid denied.
"I want one day of peace with my children, before we uproot them," Klaus stated firmly as he looked between each of his siblings. Freya sighed in response, "any delay is a risk," the witch attempted to argue, only for Klaus to glare at her warningly. "One day," Klaus stated, leaving no room for argument as he narrowed his eyes at his sister.
"We're in the middle of nowhere, the house is cloaked, we weren't followed, and I'm not asking!" the hybrid responded firmly causing Freya to roll her eyes as she turned away from him. Just then, the porch door opened as Thea stepped outside with a large smile, "everybody, look who's awake," the brunette spoke up as Hope and Kaiden appeared from behind her nervously.
The Mikaelson siblings all stopped their arguing, turning towards the twins with awed expressions. Kol pushed himself off the banister he was lent against in order to get abetter look at his niece and nephew as Rebekah stood from the porch swing and moved to stand beside Elijah, both smiling down at the twins. "Hello," Hope greeted nervously as she held onto Thea's hand tightly, not used to having so many new people around.
Klaus stepped forward slightly, the nervous expression on his face matching that of the twins, "hello," he replied with a smile. The twins both smiled back at him before Kaiden turned towards Thea. "Mom? Can we go play in the garden?" the younger twin asked with a smile, causing Thea to nod her head. "Yeah, sure," the brunette responded, offering Klaus a sympathetic smile as she watched the twins skip off into the garden.
