Kaiden was stood by the window in his and Hope's shared room, looking out at the unusually quiet French Quarter when Klaus suddenly entered the room behind him. "The Hollow, she's getting stronger," the younger Mikaelson twin stated without turning around, causing Klaus to frown; unsettled by his son's words.
"You can sense her?" the hybrid asked curiously, a hint of fear in his tone as he stepped further into the room. Whilst the Hollow had already gone after Hope, she had yet to make a move against Kaiden and both Klaus and Thea were terrified that, that fact was only moments away from becoming untrue.
"When we first got here, there was always music outside, people dancing, laughing," Kaiden replied, keeping his eyes locked on the deserted streets of the French Quarter with a worried look on his face. "But since she came back, it's so quiet. Like she's draining everything out of the city," the tribrid spoke, turning his attention towards his father as he continued.
"She's already took Uncle Elijah. And soon, she will come for the rest of us," Kaiden stated with a tone of fear as he stopped just in front of his father causing a perplexed look to contort on Klaus' features. With a soft sigh, Klaus knelt, grabbing either side of Kaiden's arms in a caring hold as he looked his son directly in the eyes that were an identical match to his mother's.
"Listen, Kaiden, I know you're scared," the original began with a soft tone, "but over the years, a lot of bad people have stood against our family, and all of them have fallen. The Hollow is no different," Klaus assured him with an expression of determination. Kaiden shook his head in denial, an ashen look on his face, "no, she is different," the young boy spoke firmly earning a perplexed look from Klaus as he headed the warning in his son's tone.

Thea was stood in Klaus' study, overlooking Elijah's desiccated body with a saddened look on her face. She had already lost so much family already; she wasn't prepared to lose any more. "We will find a way to bring you back, Lijah...I swear it," the brunette promised as she placed a hand on the original's stiff arm, a stray tear collecting in her eye as she realised he could not hear her.
"We're family; always and forever," Thea whispered before wiping the tears from her eyes and placing a sweet kiss on her brother-in-law's forehead. As she did so, the sound of glass cracking hit her ears causing her to knit her brows together in confusion. With a frown, Thea walked over to the candelabra where Freya's pendant was currently hanging before taking the necklace into her hands, finding the glass of the pendant cracked.
