Thea walked downstairs in search for Freya. After finding out the other night that her family were entrusted with one of the Hollow's bones, Thea immediately called Tyler to find out if he knew anything about it. As it turns out, Tyler was just as clueless as Thea about their family history however did send out a call to Alaric, asking the man to search the mansion for any documents or bones relating to the Hollow.

The brunette had planned on spending the day with her sister in law, gathering whatever information they could about the Apisi bloodline and how it was connected to the Hollow - however, her plans were quickly turned on their heads as she caught sight of the twins stood by a table in the courtyard where the jawbone Hayley had found was laid.

"Hope, Kaid...what's going on?" Thea asked her children curiously, her brows furrowed as she noticed the far off looks resting upon both their faces. "Mom? Can you hear them too?" Hope whispered, not taking her eyes away from the bone as she called out to her mom. Thea frowned, an instant feeling of panic and concern washing over her as she knelt in front of the twins, taking their attention away from the bone.

"What's going on?" Klaus asked, frowning in concern as he entered the courtyard, finding Thea knelt in front od the twins worriedly. "Look at me," Thea ordered her children gently, drawing their attention towards her as she peered up at them fearfully, "tell me what you heard," the brunette stated desperately.

Kaiden scrunched his nose up, looking as though he was trying to make sense of something that nobody else could hear. "Whispers," the younger twin revealed, "they said we're connected to this. You, me, Hopey," Kaiden informed as he looked up to his mom with widened eyes. Thea looked up towards Klaus worriedly, her face pale and shocked.

"If this fossil has been whispering lies, I'll gladly throw it in the river," Klaus remarked, somewhat angrily as he stormed over to the table, about to remove the bone before Hope stopped him. "No, not the bone," the elder Mikaelson twin denied, her brows furrowed slightly, "the witches. The Ancestors. They have a message for us. A warning," Hope revealed.

Thea and Klaus shared another worried look, fearing for the safety of their children. "Tell me what they said," Thea urged desperately as she turned back to face Hope and Kaiden. "They want you to go St. Anne's Church to talk to them. They said you have to do exactly what they say, and you have to do it now," Hope told her mom, a worried look on her face.

"Before the Hollow comes for us," Kaiden finished his sister's revelation, a worried look displayed on his small face. Thea sighed, turning back to look at Klaus who had gritted his teeth angrily at the revelation.
