'just say the word, we'll take on the world'

Roman drove his car down a long road as the dark night blanketed the sky all around them. Hope was now sat in the passenger seat beside him scrolling through the vampire's music playlists on his phone as Kaiden slept, in a rather uncomfortable position, across the back seat. "Okay, I knew your hair had emo tendencies but your music?" Hope chuckled, a teasing smile on her lips as she scrolled through his music.
"Shade thrown and caught," Roman scoffed in amusement, a mocking look of offence on his face as he turned to look at the tribrid for a second. Hope smirked, a look of amusement resting on her face, "quit judging," Roman told her with an amused laugh, a smile decorating his lips as he reached over, taking his phone from her hands. "Lean in," the vampire stated as he raised his phone up slightly so that he could take a photo of them both.
"No, I'll do it," Hope retorted with a smile as she reached back over, taking his phone from him once again. The tribrid raised his phone slightly, smiling at the camera as she leant slightly towards Roman, taking a photo of them both. "My mom would kills us if she knew that we were taking selfies while driving," Hope laughed as she looked down at the photo they'd taken with a soft smile, "though, compared to binding my werewolf side, I'd just say it's a misdemeanor."
Noticing the way her expression fell slightly, Roman furrowed his brows together in concern, "you nervous?" the vampire asked softly. Hope sighed in response, placing Roman's face in her lap as she turned to face him. "My Aunt Freya basically said that I'd regret it for the rest of my life," the oldest Mikaelson twin replied with a shrug, "and from what I've read in my dad's journals, it's horrible. So, you know, actually kind of terrified."
Hope frowned in thought, a troubled a look on her face as she considered the implications of what she and Kaiden were about to do. "Well, you said you feel like a freak," Roman reminded her, causing Hope's frown to deepen, looking up at him weirdly, "I don't know, maybe this will help," the vampire shrugged. Hope stared at him critically before sighing, "still, its- its strange cutting out a part of yourself that you barely even know," the Mikaelson twin retorted.
"So you wont miss it," Roman replied easily with a shrug causing Hope to frown once again, not understanding why he was practically pushing her towards binding her werewolf side. A nagging feeling in the back of her mind told her something wasn't right, but she pushed it away, thinking it was just Kaiden's paranoia surrounding the vampire that was playing with her head. "Anyway, you'll still be you," Roman told the tribrid with a warm smile, a kindness in his eyes that eased Hope's worries.
