•chapter twenty-nine•

kio's pov

i ran downstairs as fast as i could and ran into the living room where everyone was.

"SHE'S AWAKE!" i screamed, cause everyone to turn their heads towards me

"wait, addi is awake?!" asked mads

"YES NOW COME ON" i yelled while running out to the car.

mads, bryce, josh, and jaden followed me and quickly got in the car.

•at the hospital•

we all ran into the hospital as fast as we could, and i ran up to the front desk

"addison" i said frantically

the woman at the front desk just smirked at me. she looked about in her early twenties. i was obviously not in the flirty mood.

"NOT NOW LADY! I NEED TO SEE ADDISON" i yelled

she scrunched her nose and turned to her computer.

"room 306" she said

"i know, i've been here before" i said while running down the hallway

the others quickly followed and when i reached addi's door, i told everyone to wait outside for a minute

i slowly opened the door and stepped in the hospital room, closing the door behind me.

i turned around and saw addi, just standing next to the bed. she had tears in her eyes and so did i.

i ran to her and wrapped my arms around her waist, i picked her up and she wrapped her legs around my waist.

we held onto each other for what felt like forever. we both were just crying.

my baby is finally awake after 1 month. i haven't gotten to hold her like this in a month.

"i missed you so much addison" i said while sniffling and holding onto her tighter

"i missed you too" she said while picking her head up off my shoulder.

i was still holding her, and she looked at me and cupped her hands around my face.

she slowly leaned in for a kiss and so did i.

our lips crashed together and we just kept kissing.

a few minutes later, we both pulled apart and i gently sat her on the floor.

we both sat in the chairs next to her bed and started talking.

"so, what happened?" she asked

"okay so after jason had like hit you a lot, i ran into the room and started beating the shit out of that bitch. soon the cops came and i rode with you to the hospital and you wouldn't wake up. addi, that was the scariest day of my life. i thought i was going to lose the love of my life. i wouldn't leave my room at all, and everyone at the sway house has been all sad and stuff. like mads, i haven't seen her stop crying. and bryce misses you so much, he said your like a little sister to him. and even josh hasn't been himself." i explained with tears in my eyes again
