kio's pov

i stopped and froze right where i was. i saw jason standing right outside the door of the closet the girls were in. he was holding a gun straight at the door, and he had an evil smirk on his face. he was obviously waiting for them to come out so he could shoot them.

my heart dropped at the thought of that happening. i kept my distance, but i also yelled for them to not come out. he could open it any minute and just shoot them. or just turn and shoot me.

i was breathing heavily but i tried to keep my cool.

how do i stop this?

i can't run away and leave the girls. i can't call anyone.

only one thing i can do...attack (lol)

i took a deep breath before doing it. jason was staring at the door so it was now or never

i ran as fast as i could towards him, and luckily got to him before he could aim the gun at me.

i tackled him to the ground causing him to drop his gun. i kicked it further away with my foot while i was on top of him, struggling to hold him down.

"guys can you come out now!" i yelled while still trying to hold him down. he was putting up a fight and i didn't like it

i heard the door slowly creep open, along with addi's voice

"oh my god kio!" addi yelled with her voice cracking, she must've been crying

"go get help!" i yelled "i can't hold him down for long" i added

"no i can't leave you!" addi said while trying to come closer to me

"no! you have to go!" i yelled causing her to stop coming closer "please, i can't lose you" i said in a calmer tone

"come on" sydney said to addi

she grabbed onto addi's wrist and pulled her to the stairs, but addi kept looking back as she was going

once i saw them go into the stairway, i directed my attention back to jason

addi's pov

sydney pulled me to the stairs and i just followed her wherever she was going.

i had tears falling down my cheeks, and all i could think about was kio.

before i knew it, we reached the lobby and me and sydney ran to the police who were there looking for jason

"ma'am are you okay" the officer said after seeing me in sydney who, no doubt, look traumatized

"t-the u-m" sydney started saying but i guess the fear hit her all at that point

"jason!" i said cutting her off

the officer waved for his crew to follow him and we led him to the where kio was holding him down

luckily, kio wasn't dead when we got there. he was struggling though.

the officers ran to kio and took over. kio stood up and looked down at jason while catching his breath. the police stood jason up then put him in handcuffs.

me and sydney watched the whole thing, and we were both pretty traumatized.

i saw kio look as if he had snapped out of a gaze and remembered that his girlfriend almost died, so he ran over to me. he lifted me up and a snuggled my head on his shoulder. i felt safer with him.
