•chapter forty-nine•

addi's pov

i turned around and saw...

nick

i haven't talked to nick since we almost, ya know, at that one party. but then i got called to the hospital

i mean, we've had our small conversations, but none were in person or if they were, they lasted about .5 seconds, usually consisting with a "hey" then and awkward silence before we both leave

but this time, he just approached me with a smile on his face. he didn't seem awkward at all. i wasn't either, just confused

"hey" he said with a beem of joy

"hey" i said with a slight giggle because of how high his voice got when he said 'hey'

"so i saw you all alone and my friends are meeting fans, and i assume yours are too, so i was just wondering if you wanted to go get food" he exclaimed with a little grin of his face

i hesitated a little before telling my self to stop. he obviously doesn't like me anymore and he knows how long me and kio have been together. i'm also hungry

"sure" i replied quickly making sure i didn't zone out and ignore him

"cool, i saw some over there so follow me" he said as he started walking in the direction of the lobby

i did as he said and followed him.

after about 7 minutes of stopping to take pictures with fans and getting through the crowds, we eventually made it to a room with a table of food on it

no one else was in here since the room was only available to creators and most of them had scheduled later meet and greets that were happening right now

we both were just having a casual conversation talking about our fans and some of the gifts we got as we both got our food

we continued the convo as we sat down at on of the tables that were out

nick was telling me about a fan who tried to cut a little piece of his hair, and i was super interested in where this story was going, but he was interrupted from a notification that popped up on my screen

new snapchat notification from 'baby🥺'

i would usually ignore snaps in the middle of conversations, but since i had t told kio where i was going, and that fact jason is still in the same building, he must be worried

"i'm sorry, can i check this?" i asked, really not wanting to be rude towards nick

"of course, go ahead. i was just gonna get more food anyway" he said as he got up and took his plate

i opened the snap from kio:

i smiled at his cute little face before snapping him back with food in my hand and i was in the middle of taking a bite, so my face looks hella weird lol

he never leaves me on open.

was he jealous? was he mad? does he think i'm cheating on him?

i decided to wait a minute to see if he was gonna respond, but 5 minutes later, there was still nothing

wtf is his problem, i'm literally eating and he's getting mad.

i understand that it may be the fact that me and nick practically dated, but that was in the past, i've gotten over the two times he's cheated on me right?! yes i have.

"hey i'm back and i got the last pickle" nick said, causing me to let out a giggle

"no fair" i said sarcastically

"we can split it if you want?" he said as he held the pickle out with the juice dripping everywhere

i laughed and pushed the pickle back over his plate to stop him from making more of a mess

"i was kidding" i said still laughing

"okay okay. i'm not gonna give you any of my pickle, but you'll regret it" nick said with a laugh

i laughed back and replied with "no i won't"

kio's pov

i didn't know how to respond to addi's snap, so i just left her on open

i know that's not the smartest move, but if i'm being honest, i was kinda mad

more like jealous actually

i know i shouldn't be, but my girlfriend just told me she's hanging out with the dude she practically dated.

i decided to just go down and see her instead, and make up some shit like "it didn't send" or something

i made my way down to the room with all the food, and surprising only got stopped by fans twice

probably because charli was literally five feet away from me so people were all around her

i approached the door but before i went in, i heard addi and nick just laughing

i suddenly got super jealous

i zoned out what they were saying as i stood outside the door thinking of i should go in or not

i was snapped out of my thoughts when i heard nick say "but you'll regret it"

what will she regret? is she going to sleep with him? is he telling her she'll regret cheating on me? or is he telling her she'll regret not cheating on me? is he trying to get her to sleep with him?

what the fuck kio?! you're being completely stupid

"no i won't" i heard addi day with a laugh

am i being stupid, or am i right?

hey guys! i didn't really know where this chapter was going when i started it lol, but it ended with kio and addi fighting about a pickle in a way so yea lmao idek
