•chapter forty•

addi's pov

i hung up the phone and turned to nick.

"everything okay?" he asked

"not really, i have to go" i said as i started walking to the door

"wait, where?" he asked

i turned around and said,

"it's kio"

"you're going back to kio? after all the shit he put you through?!" nick explained

"it's not what you think nick. i'm sorry, i really like you but...we won't work" i said with tears in my eyes

"but addi, i thought we were good, what happened?" he asked, with tears in his eyes too, but he wasn't letting them come out

"i still love kio nick. i can't just stop loving him. i'm sorry" i said walking out of the room and not letting him respond

i wasn't that drunk anymore, but i still wanted to be safe, so i took an u we to the hospital.

•skip to the hospital •

i was still in my dress from the party so i got a few stares from people.

i ignored them tho and i went straight to the front desk

"hi, i'm here to see kio cyr" i said to the nice lady who looked about 30 or so

"yes ma'am, i think he just woke up, room 302" she told me

"thank you" i said as i walked down the hall

i didn't bother to find josh or any of them, i went straight to his room.

i slowly opened the door but he didn't turn his head.

his eyes were open, and he was just staring out the window on the opposite side of the room, so he didn't know it was me.

i thought about what i could say. i was still crying, but i could still talk

"i'm good doc, you don't have to stand there" kio said in a deep voice without turning his head

as i was about to say something, someone pulled me out of the room and into the hallway and shut kio's door

i looked and saw that it was josh

"you need to know a few things before you talk to him" he said with one of his hands on my shoulder

"okay?" i said

"okay so basically after you broke up with him he sorta...broke down i guess. he's been drinking and doing drugs and he hasn't left his room and i would t let him leave the house unless he was clean." josh explained

i slowly nodded my head and crying even more now

josh walked away and i turned back to the door.

i opened it slowly and his head was in the same spot.

i just decided to talk

"you're a real idiot, you know that right?" i said in a nice/crying tone

he slowly turned his head and his eyes were as wide as ever

"addi?" he said slowly

i nodded and walked closer to his hospital bed

i examined him real quick.

i could tell by his eyes that he had gotten high plenty of times, he had scratches all over himself, and surprisingly no broken bones

i looked back at his face and saw he was crying so much.

"you look...beautiful" he said

"you look awful" i joked

he giggled and then held onto my hand

"why are you here? what about nick?" he asked

"me and nick were never a thing, and i'm here because i love you. i never stopped loving you kio." i explained

before he could respond, josh and the others walked in.

"addi! you look beautiful" mads said as she ran to me

"i missed you bb" i said while hugging her

"hey kio, you want us to go get you some water or something?" josh asked

"sure, thanks" kio replied

"well let you two be alone" josh said while he left the room with the others following him

"can you lay with me" kio asked with puppy dog eyes

"fine, but only because you have boo boos" i replied with a smile

he moved over a little and i laid next to him.

he put his arm around me and i put my head on his chest.

"addi?" he asked

"yea" i replied

"please don't leave again" he said, i could tell he was tearing up because his voice was cracking

"then promise me you won't do anything stupid" i replied

"i promise" he said

hey guys! hope you liked this chapter, also i have a few ideas so hear me out:

okay so idea one is that i wrap this story up with them being happy and stuff, because i feel like i've already put a lot of drama in this story and it's kinda getting to the end ya know? anyways, when i wrap this story up, i have another idea for a jaden hossler book and i feel like it's a good storyline (i'm not telling you tho, cuz it's gonna be a surprise✌️)

so yea to sum up idea one, i finish this book in like the next chapter or something and then start a jaden book

okay and idea two is that i continue this book, but the thing is, i'm running out of ideas so i think if i continue this book, it won't be very good:/

so i really like idea one but i'm scared that my jaden book will flop so can you guys like promise to read it or something🥺🥺
