addi's pov

after sydney calmed down a little we both pulled away from our hug

"i think we should go get security or something to get him" i said while pointing at jason who was still on the floor.

"yeah" sydney said with a sigh and also looking down at him

she quickly remembered she still didn't have a shirt (she had a bra on tho lol) so she turned around and got her shirt off the bed and put it on

"is he dead?" asked sydney while her shirt slid over her head

i giggled a little but then acted like i was clearing my throat since i shouldn't laugh at the thought of anyone dying

sydney must've thought my attempt to cover up my giggle was bad because she giggled too

"i thought he'd be a good guy" sydney said looking down at him again

"yea me too, but then i realized what a freak he was" i said coping her actions and looking at him too

"wait, you know him?" asked sydney while looking at me

"well yea. me and him went to highschool together and he was the player in the school so every girl threw themselves at him, but when he asked me out i kept rejecting him and he obviously didn't like that so the psycho in him came out" i explained

"what did he do?" asked sydney curiously

"well, first one time in school he like attacked me in the girls bathroom and that was pretty traumatic. then another time was when i was in a remote part of LA and i was alone and he like found me or something and then kidnapped me and then i was in a coma for a month because of him then i didn't see or hear from him in like three years till i saw him outside of this hotel the first day of playlist and he told me he's been stalking me and he tried to get me into his truck and stuff." i explained while looking up at sydney. she had her jaw almost on the floor. she was clearly shocked about what kind of person he really is

"oh my god that's awful. i'm sorry i've such a bitch to you" sydney said with guilt coming over her face

"it okay-" i started but she cut me off

"no it's not okay. the truth is, i have some trouble at home. as in like abuse and stuff. i know that's no excuse to treat you like i did but i guess it just changed me for the worst. i'm sorry" sydney said while looking down (props to @HAVEAGOODDAYYYY for this idea<3 )

"sydney if you need help at home you could always come and talk to me, i'll be here for you no matter what" i said while putting my hand on her shoulder for reassurance

"thank you. so what should we do with that" sydney said referring to jason

"let's call security" i said

"okay, i'll do it" sydney said while getting her phone out and walking to the other side of the room so she could call security

i sat on the bed so i could still see jason but i also got out my phone.

i had forgotten about meeting riley so i had plenty of missed texts from her and kio

i didn't feel like texting so i just called kio first

what happened, riley told me she never met you so i thought you were hurt
okay well i was on my way to riley but when i was passing sydney's room, i heard that she was in trouble so when i opened the door i saw jason trying to assault her so i tackled him and when he hit the floor, he must've passed out or he died, but idk. anyway sydney's calling security right now.
damn baby! that's why i love you. you helped the bitchiest bitch ever. are you guys friends now?
well first of all, she explained why she was being a bitch but that's a story i'll tell you later, and i'm fine with being friends with her, she's honestly a nice person

i hung up and then walked to the door to join the conversation sydney was having with the security guard who just got here
