A bit of trouble

Susan spun around as quickly as she could to face Edmund's bed, and when she did her eyes went wide.
Edmund was now, by the looks of it, awake. But his eyes were wide and his back arched, struggling to breath.
Susan ran towards the bed, hearing Edmund let out a cough, and saw the blood splatter his lips. "Lucy roll him over!" She shouted, realising that her brother was choking.
Lucy nodded and tried her best to roll Edmund onto his side, but she was struggling.
Susan soon reached the bed and sat down next to Edmund, grabbing his arms tightly and rolling him quickly onto his side.
She sighed in relief but cringed at the same time when Edmund relaxed a little, blood trickling from his mouth and down his chin and cheek. "Okay." Susan whispered, patting him gently on the back.
Edmund gasped for a few minutes, coughing at odd times which caused more blood to coat the bed sheets.
"It'll be okay." Susan mumbled, playing gently with Edmund's hair.
After a few minutes Edmund let out a quiet sob, squeezing his eyes shut.
"Hey." Susan murmered, lifting Edmund into a sitting position and pulling him into her arms. "It's all gonna be alright." She whispered into his ear.
Edmund took a deep breath, his mouth still open as he collapsed against Susan. "S - Su." He choked.
"I'm here Ed." Susan reassured him. "I'm here and so is Lucy."
Edmund's eyes opened partly and he glanced at Lucy, who gave him a small, forced smile.
Edmund stared at her for a little while, before bringing his hand up to his mouth, swallowing hard when he saw the red that coated his fingers.
Susan caught him looking and gently took hold of his hand, pulling it close to her chest. "Ed." She said, taking a deep breath.
Edmund slowly glanced up at her, a small frown on his face.
"You're gonna be alright." Susan said firmly with a small nod. "I promise."
Edmund swallowed hard but nodded, relaxing against his sister with a deep breath.
The three sat there in total silence before Susan took a deep breath... Edmund had to know. "Ed?" She asked slowly.
"Hmm?" Was Edmund's reply.
"We - We should probably tell you that some of the witches followers have been spotted - heading this way." Susan said hesitantly.
Edmund seemed to freeze in her arms for a while before he choked out: "What?"
"But we don't know if they are actually coming here." Lucy said quickly.
"Lucy's right." Susan said, placing a light kiss to Edmund's forehead. "And even if they are, we'll keep you safe, I promise."
Edmund bit his bloody lip and nodded, burying his face against Susan's shoulder.
"Come on." Susan mumbled after a while. "You should get back to sleep."
Edmund nodded and didn't protest as Susan lay him back down - on his side - and pulled the blanket over him. "And you Lucy." She said, glancing at her little sister.
Lucy nodded a little and lay down beside Edmund, curling up beside him and slowly closing her eyes.
Susan waited until she knew they were both asleep, before sitting back on the chair by the bed and grabbing a book.

Peter sighed slightly as his eyes flickered open, at once feeling the stiffness of his neck from lying on the floor so long.
Realising that it was just starting to get light he forced himself into a sitting position, rubbing the back of his neck before running a hand through his scruffy hair, sighing lightly to himself.
Glancing over at Philip he found him still asleep, and reached into the bag for some food.
As he sat there eating he kept hearing the weirdest noises, and it told him instantly that it wasn't safe out here.
Sighing again he stood, dusting off his trousers and going to wake Philip up, but he stopped dead when someone pressed a knife to his throat.
Glancing around he caught sight of a hag, smirking up at him. "You're gonna come with me and you're not going to make a sound." She whispered, pulling Peter's sword from his sheath and throwing it to the floor as quickly as she could.
Peter swallowed hard. "And if I don't?" He mumbled.
"If you don't, then not only will I slit your throat, but I'll set the Queens army on Cair Paravel." The hag replied.
Peter swallowed hard and nodded slowly, allowing the hag to lead him away, Philip still somehow asleep.
Peter was pushed through the woods, realising that it was getting darker and darker, as well as colder, there was no sun at all getting through the trees.
His heart was pounding as he walked, he had to find some way of escape, this was wasting valuable time!
"What do you want?" He asked the hag.
"I want to stall you." The hag laughed. "You'll never get back to save your precious brother now."
Peter rolled his eyes. "How many of you know?!" He exclaimed.
"Shush!" The hag warned, pressing the knife harder to Peter's neck. "Not so loud. But, most of us do, and if I set the army on Cair, then they'll know your brother is an easy target, so I wouldn't try anything funny if I were you."
Peter swallowed hard before taking a deep breath, this was not good... not good at all.
After they'd been walking for atleast half an hour the hag stopped. "Sit." She spat, nodding at a tree.
Peter swallowed hard, looking around for anything that would help him, but with no luck.
In the end he had no choice but to sit against the tree, the hag then pulling out rope and tighing him tightly to it.
He couldn't help but gasp slightly at how tight she tied the knots, getting a laugh from her. "Good luck getting yourself free." She spat before disappearing into thin air.
Peter cried out in frustration as he pulled against the ropes, which unfortunately held fast.
He couldn't believe this had happened, how would he get back in time now?!
