What had been meant to be a short cuddle on the sofa with your boyfriend Sirius had resulted in the whole evening going past, leaving the only thing left in the day to be bedtime. Sirius was lying on his back on the sofa, his feet kicked off the end and his head propped up by several throw cushions, whilst you were lying on your stomach, on top of him, using his chest as a cushion.

"We should probably head to bed," Sirius whispered, pushing some of your hair away from your face.

You shook your head, nuzzling your face into his bare chest. Even if it wasn't your bed, you were rather cosy just where you were and more than willing to spend the night there rather than having to get up and move to a different room.

"It's time for bed," he reiterated. "We both need to get some rest, and we can continue to cuddle in bed rather than here."

Once again, you shook your head, wrapping your arms around him tighter, wanting to cuddle as close as possible. You loved spending time together, especially if it was just a sweet cuddle without anything to worry about other than being comfortable.

"Comfy," you grumbled, trying your best to argue any case he had to try and get you to move.

"Laying your head on my chest can hardly be that comfortable," he argued.

You looked up slightly at him, trying to offer him an innocent smile, desperate to not have to move from your position. "You're really soft."

Sirius rolled his eyes at you, shaking his head slightly.

"Hey! My chest isn't soft. It's got lots of muscles," he said firmly although with the minimal exercise that he did, you both knew that he lacked any real muscles anywhere.

"Of course," you lied. "You're just very comfy."

He leaned in to press his lips to your hair, moving a hand to gently rub up and down your back making you even less willing to move from the sofa.

"I guess that we can sleep here tonight, if you are really that comfortable."

You offered him a big grin before kissing his chest, not wanting to move enough to press your lips to his before nuzzling back down on his chest so that you were back in your comfortable position that you had been in before.

"I love you Sirius."

"I love you too."
