Your yellow and black uniform rustled in the wind as you hovered on your broom protecting the hoops from your red and gold clad allies. You had always loved quidditch. Since you were old enough to clamber onto a broom, Cedric, your older brother, had taken you out into the garden to play quidditch. Having been practicing for years with your brother you had became pretty good, good enough to be the keeper for the Hufflepuff team.
The quaffle hadn't made it way to your side of the pitch more than once, meaning you had little to nothing to do other than look down into the stand to see your girlfriend sticking out like a sore thumb. Her blue robes stood out in the sea of yellow, as she shouted and cheered for Hufflepuff to do well along with encouragement towards you. Although Luna herself was a Ravenclaw, she had little interest in quidditch, meaning she would support you even if you were in a rival team, not caring how Ravenclaw did to the distaste of her house.
As the game continued quaffle flew towards the middle hoop, but with a quick hit you sent it flying back towards the Gryffindor side. Moments later Madam Hooch blew her whistle as the announcer confirmed that Hufflepuff had been the victor of the game. You saw your brother gleaming, his hand clasped around the golden snitch, having been the reason the game ended in your favour.
You lowered your broom the grass below you, as the blond girl you loved ran towards you.
"You did so well Y/N," She grinned, pulling you into a bone crushing hug, causing you to drop your broom, so that you could hug her back.
"Thanks Luna," you smiled. "Thank you for supporting me through this."
As she pulled away, you stopped her so that you could press your lips to her in a celebratory kiss.
"Now, now, isn't it my favourite sister and favourite future sister-in-law," A familiar voice said from behind you.
"Well done Ced, you did amazingly," you smiled, proud of your brother.
"We wouldn't have won without the best keeper in school," he chuckled giving your shoulder a gentle clap.
You rolled your eyes. You didn't do too much honestly for the team, you had played chaser for some time but without a prospective keeper you had moved into the role, and although you were good at it, you felt you did significantly less than your brother did as a seeker.
"Nonsense-" you started but Cedric cut you off.
"How about we head to the common room and celebrate?"
"You never celebrate wins," you said rather confused by the suggestion.
"Not the game. Celebrate you and Luna's happiness and hopefully perfect future."
Luna and yourself could help but beam with happiness, knowing your brother cared so much for the both of you.
