You opened up the chest at the end of one of the beds and rummaged through looking for the blue sweater that brought you so much joy. Most of the chest was filled with clothes that George never wore and random crap that he stored there to hide from his mother or to save him a trip to put it away or in the bin. You made a mental note to get him to sort it out later, but it wasn't your priority at that moment. With a fair amount of effort, you managed to find the old knitted jumper that had a large G stitched into the front. It was a little tatty after having been worn so much but it didn't mean that you loved it any less.

Quickly you pulled it on over the top of your pyjamas, not caring that the actual owner of it may have wanted to wear it himself. Even if it wasn't your jumper, George knew that you had first choice when it came to wearing it.

The sleeves hung well past your hands and the bottom of the shirt rested just below your knees, leaving you in a cosy tent of a jumper. It was comfortable and you wore it at almost every chance you got. Molly had offered to make you one but you told her to wait until Christmas like she did with everyone else's, meaning you got to make the most out of George's as you knew he'd remind you of your own once you had it.

"Am I ever going to get a chance to wear that bloody jumper?" You heard the familiar voice say from the doorway.

You turned around, holding a sheepish smile upon your face, wrapping your arms around your middle to cuddle the jumper to you.

"It's not my fault that it is so damn cosy and warm," you stated.

George rolled his eyes before wrapping his arms around your, pulling your close to his chest. He pressed a kiss to your forehead.

"You're lucky that you look extra cute in it," he smiled. "Although I can't deny that I would prefer for it to be on the floor."

You shook your head at him, moving to your tip toes so that you could reach to press your lips to his. You loved him even if he could be a bit of a dork sometimes.

"Don't be silly," you berated, slapping him with the excess fabric from your long sleeve.
