Harry Potter- Change (a)

"Do not be worried Master Potter." One of the newest young wizards, a certain Harry Potter, spun the food around on his plate yet whilst everybody else had rushed down their fill, he had barely managed a mouthful.

"What if I don't want to be a wizard? What if I want to just go back and be a normal person."

"I have dealt with that question more times than you could possibly know and unfortunately the answer is not desirable."

"I'm sick of hearing people's expectations of me. How can people possibly expect me to be this all mighty magic users when I don't even know how to hold a wand?" With some urging me managed to have a small forkful of mashed potato but you didn't think you would get much more out of him.

"It won't happen overnight, and I'm only going to tell you the same that everybody else has. You do have great potential whether you think that's lucky or not. I know that change isn't as simple as that, but you'll get there, and I'll be by your side for every step of the way."

"How can I be like my father or my mother though? The only thing I've got to remember them by is this scar, it isn't like I can ask that for help is it?" He made sure that his dark hair covered the scar from the view of the other students, but even you thought everybody would have known by now.

"I was actually a good friend of your father, and your mother." His eyes slowly began to light up, as if they were injected with new life.

"Did you know them well?"

"I spent most of my time them with them here. As soon as I saw you stepping off that train I saw him in you but I look into your eyes and I can see your mother."

"I have always been told I have my mother's eyes, I never quite knew what that meant though."

"Please trust me Harry Potter, you have nothing to worry about. You'll make it through your time at Hogwarts, I can't lie and say that it will be easy. But you will make it out alive and after that, I know that you're going to change the world."

"Can you tell me more about my parents?"

"Not now. Get settled in first, when it's the right time I'll tell you all you need to know."
