Your OWLS were a month away and for most people that was more than enough time for them to study and be prepared to do their best on them but of course that was not enough time for Hermione. She had a study plan from her first day in Hogwarts and this final month before these exams was one of the most intense that she had set for herself. Although she was ahead of her own schedule, she didn't feel nearly prepared enough to be confident to sit any exams, but time was only looming closer and closer.

It was gone midnight and she had set up shop in the common room, trying to spend every second with her nose stuck in a book or scribbling something out on parchment. She had been sat there for hours, trying to study but the panic was rising within her.

"It's going to be okay Hermione," you assured her. "You need to take a moment though. You're just going to end up overworking yourself."

She shook her head violently. "I can't waste a single minute."

You gently closed the book that she was reading, expecting her to fight back but she didn't, instead gave you a confused look.

"The stars look especially lovely tonight."

Hermione cocked her eyebrow at you. "Pardon?"

"Let's go outside and look at the stars," you clarified. "Take your mind off of the exams for a little so that when you come back, you have a clear head."

"Oh no." She said shaking her head. "I cannot. We aren't even allowed to be in here let alone outside of the common room completely."

You held up the invisibility cloak that you had stolen from Harry's trunk, knowing that it would come in handy for tonight. Hermione seemed apprehensive of the thought for a moment but still rose from her seat before pulling the cloak around the two of you. The two of you quickly left the castle, going your best to leave know sign that either of you had been there until you were finally in the castle grounds.

Hermione pushed the cloak back to reveal both of your faces. She looked up to the dark sky with a gentle smile.

"The stars truly are beautiful," she said softly. "Thank you for bringing me out here."

"Anything for you Hermione."

The two of you sat down on the grass in silence, appreciating the cool evening breeze and watching the stars light up the sky.
