Fred Weasley- Toothache (c)

You let out a groan as you rolled over in bed, hoping that you were going to die as you couldn't cope with the pain much longer. Your tooth had been in pain for the last three weeks and nothing you could think of would alleviate the pain beyond a little.

As a Muggleborn, you were relying far more on muggle medicine rather than magic, not knowing what repercussions would occur if you were to take them. You were swearing by pain relief and clove oil to try and stop the pain whilst alternating between the two different ice packs in the house to try and numb it.

Fred scurried back to the bed where you were still groaning with pain, handing you the ice pack he had just retrieved, taking the one you had previously had to put back to freeze.

"Here you go, Love," he smiled weakly, wrapping it in a tea towel and handing it to you.

You clutched onto it as though it was your life essence, holding it to your cheek, hoping it would numb some of the pain.

"Thank you," you said, not being able to smile without causing discomfort to you aching tooth.

"How are you feeling?" He asked, wrapping his arms around you, to try and comfort you but he felt rather terrible as he couldn't do anything to help you at all.

"Like crap," you frowned. "Can I have any more pain killers?"

Although the pain relief helped a little, it wore off long before you were able to take anymore which infuriated you. All you wanted was it to get better but seen as you couldn't get an appointment with a muggle dentist until the end of the week, you were pretty stuck until then. You didn't care if they pulled your tooth out, as long as the pain ended.

Fred looked at the clock before giving you a sympathetic look. "I'm sorry, Love, you still have another hour before you can take more."

You let out a sob, just wanting more, but not wanting to make yourself sick in taking too many.

"I know," he said softly. "It's not long though. Hopefully the ice will help you out a bit."

"I hope so," you frowned.

Fred leaned in to press his lips to the top of your head. "Try and get some rest, I'll wake you when you can take more pain relief."

"Thank you," you said weakly. "I love you."

"I love you too."
