Rey, Maz and Chewie stepped out from the Millennium Falcon after landing on the cruiser.

Poe, Finn and Leia approached them.

Finn and Poe hugged her.

"Any hitches?" Finn asked.

"It couldn't have gone any smoother," Maz said.

"And the children?" Rey asked.

Poe smiled, "All safe and on board."

"Complications?" Maz asked.

"None. Our source really is top notch."

"We found it Master," Rey said eagerly getting the book out for Leia to inspect.

She took it smiling.

"The book, eh?" Poe said.

"Hopefully," Rey said.

Finn frowned, "And it's a good thing that it's ripped in half, right? It should match the other half you already have?"

Maz nodded, "I recognised it as soon as I saw it. It should match perfectly."

Chewie let out a series of calls and gestured at the Falcon.

"Yes Chewie," Maz said, "That sounds like a good idea. I'll help you to replace the acceleration compensator."

He shot Rey a pleading glance.

Leia looked away, holding back a smile.

"Could you help me and Leia with this book first Maz?" Rey asked, "Your insights will be useful."

Maz looked disappointed but nodded, "I'm sorry Chewie; I'll be back as soon as I can."

Chewie growled once and hastily disappearing back into the Falcon.

"I like that wookiee," Maz said as Poe and Finn tried to hide their laughter.

They walked along the long grey corridor until reaching an intersection.

"We'd better go and check on the children," Finn said, pointing one way.

"And we'd better start these translations," Rey said gesturing down the other.

"Don't work too hard," Poe said over his shoulder as she led Leia and Maz to her quarters.

She retrieved her half of the book from the shelf containing all of the Jedi texts from Luke's island and sat at the table.

There was a trace of a smile as she reunited the parts, the worn edges almost identical.

Where the two halves met, the pages combined to complete a beautiful drawing.

The left hand page that she had been studying for months showed a beautiful woman with green hair and an old man with a high peaked crown. They were surrounded by golden circles that spread into long narrow rays.

The new right hand page showed a man with a white face. There were red stripes over the top of his head and tracing down from his eyes like bleeding tears.

Leia and Maz joined her.

"Now I can copy out a few of the pages and we can start translating them," Rey said, "It shouldn't take more than a few hours."
