As the last words of the pages were finished, Rey sat back and tiredly rubbed her eyes.
"Right...I'll get started trying to make sense of all this," she said, "Thank you both for your help."
Maz went to the door, "I better go and help Chewie. I've been gone far too long."
Rey and Leia exchanged a smile as she left.
Contented silence followed as Rey studied the pages, scanning them as quickly as she could.
"Rey, be patient," Leia said, causing her to look up.
"Sorry Master," she replied, "I know I can lose sight of the big picture and...rush into things. It just often all seems so impossible; winning seems impossible."
"Nothing's impossible."
"There's so much that we have to do to have a chance of succeeding."
"We have everything we need."
Rey's smile faded as thoughts of the past intruded.
Leia raised her eyebrows quizzically.
"For years all I wanted was for my parents to return," Rey said, "that somehow it would make everything better. I buried who I was for so long I half forgot myself...that they were nothing...that I come from nothing."
"Rey, never be afraid of who you are."
"I wanted so badly to be someone important...someone special...to matter...to make a difference."
"I'm just glad you're here."
She leant forward and embraced Leia, "Thank you."
