Rey shoved the Jedi books hastily into her bag and started to walk away from the base camp.

Poe fell in step behind her, "I've heard a disturbing rumour that you're planning on taking the Falcon on some wild bantha chase to Endor."

"I don't have time to talk."

"Oh you don't have time. I'm so sorry that trying to bring down an evil empire might get in the way of your Jedi quest."

"Don't start, Poe."

"Oh I am so past starting right now, Rey," he said catching her arm and bringing them both to a halt just outside the Falcon, "We need every pilot that we have for what's coming: you do not have time to do this."

"If I'm right, it won't matter how many pilots or ships you have," she said, "Now let go."

He released her and sighed heavily, "You're one of our best fighters. We need you: out there with us."

"I am with you. I just need to stop him."

"Go then!" he said storming off.

Rey looked at him as he marched away.

"We'll keep an eye on him," Rose said from behind her.

Spinning around, Rey tried to smile as Rose and Finn drew closer.

"Thanks," Rey said.

"You weren't gonna forget to say goodbye to us, were you?" Finn asked.

"I hadn't forgotten," Rey said.

He pulled her into a hug, "You be careful and return safe."

"I will, I promise," she said before hugging Rose and walking up the ramp, "We'll be back as soon as we've found what we need."

"What do we need again?"

"It's complicated. I'll explain when I get back."

"That is a very Jedi answer."

"I've been practicing."

Finn grinned as the ramp closed and Falcon climbed into the sky.
