Stretching her arms over her head, Riley yawned slightly, letting her arms fall to her lap and looking around the cell for minute. But her hand raised to remove the crusties from the corners of her eyes, running a hand through her hair and ruffling it a bit to make it look at least a little presentable. Maggie had been keeping it short to where it was an inch or two past her shoulders, whenever it grew longer, she would get her scissors and cut it. Riley smiled softly as a pair of lips gently placed themselves on the back of her shoulder, turning her head slightly, seeing a mop of brown hair. Daryl's hair had grown a bit since they brought the people from Woodbury to the prison, and since the Governor disappeared after their little war, Rick stepped down from being the leader. In turn, the prison formed a Council.

"We slept in" Riley said softly

"We had watch" he reminded, causing me to nod slightly

The two of them got up from their bed, getting ready for the day. Michonne had found three wrap around bracelets whenever she went out, and since none of the other women are as tomboyish as Riley was, she gave them to her, which she now wore around her right wrist. Lacing up her boots, Riley made sure they were comfortable enough to run in, standing straight and putting on the sheath to her knife, which also acts like a belt, buckling it in place before doing the same with the strap that goes around her right thigh. Daryl and Riley walked out of their cell, heading outside where the sun was already warm,

"Morning, Daryl" Dr. S greeted "morning, Riley"

"What's up, Dr. S?" Riley greeted

"Morning, guys"

"Morning, Riley. Morning, Daryl"

"Morning, you two"

"Hey, Riley" Carol greeted as we walked up

"Smells good" Riley commented, looking at what she was cooking

"Just so you know, I liked you guys first" she replied

"Stop" Daryl replied with an amused smirk

"You know, Rick brought in a lot of them, too" Carol said, handing them a bowl of meat

"Not recently" Riley commented

"Give the stranger sanctuary, keeping people fed, you're gonna have to learn to live with the love" she replied teasingly "I need you guys to see something. Patrick, you want to take over?" turning to the kid

"Yes, ma'am" Patrick replied, grabbing the spatula Carol handed to him "Mr. Dixon, Miss J, I just wanted to thank you for bringing that deer back yesterday. It was a real treat. And I'd be honored to shake your hands" holding a hand out to them

Riley looked at him with a raised eyebrow, shaking her head slightly in amusement before shaking his hand. Daryl being . . well, Daryl, looked at him for a second before licking his fingers, shaking the kids hand, a soft chuckle emitting from Riley as they followed Carol,

"About today" Carol began "I don't know if we're gonna be able to spare a lot of people for the run"

"That place is good to go" Riley replied "we're gonna move on it"

"The thing is, we had a pretty big buildup overnight" she said, gesturing to the walkers "dozens more towards tower three. It's getting as bad as last month. They don't spread out anymore"

"With more of us sitting here, we're drawing more of them out" Riley replied "you get enough of those damn fence-clingers, they start to herd up. Pushing against the fences again"

"It's manageable, but unless we get ahead of it, not for long" she replied, then looking at Daryl "sorry, Pookie"
