I felt a weight being lifted off of my shoulders.

It was quiet.

As soon as his lips connected with mine, the overwhelming feeling of not knowing had disappeared. The kiss lasted for a good couple of minutes. It was soft and tender. It wasn't needy and hormone-filled passion. It was sweet and gentle.

When we parted, the weight was back on my shoulders. The noise in my head played once again. it was like for that moment we had touched, nothing was wrong. Nothing was going to hurt me, not even my own thoughts.

"I don't hate you," I whisper as I place my forehead on his.

"I don't hate you too," he says in the same hushed tone and a sad smile crept across my face.

"We should probably get some rest," I say and he nods. I shuffle under the covers quickly and Harry does the same. I once again keep my distance but not as much.

"Why are you so far away from me?" he says quietly and I shrug, forgetting it was dark and he couldn't see me but I didn't dare to speak yet.

"Come here please," he says in a soft tone and I look over at him to see he was laying on his back, arms open for me to lay in. How the fuck can I say not to his cute ass? I can't.

I shuffle closer to him so I was laying on top of his right arm. I heard him sigh and he uses both his arms to pull me onto his chest and I tense immediately.

"Princess relax, it's harmless sleeping next to each other. I'm not gonna hurt you I promise," he says and he places his hand on my waist, drawing small patterns on it.

I slowly started to enjoy the feeling of his hand on my waist and I started to relax a bit more. It was silent in the room yet the noise in my head was loud. Suddenly, I heard a soft noise emit into the room.

"Settle down with me, cover me up, cuddle me in" I heard the soft sound of singing. I looked up to see Harry moving his mouth as the words emitted into the air as his eyes rested closed. He was singing to me?

"Lie down with me and hold me in your arms"  he continued whilst keeping his eyelids over his green irises and I looked at him in awe. His voice was beautiful. It mesmerized me.

"And your heart's against my chest, your lips pressed in my neck. I'm falling for your eyes, but they don't know me yet,"  he turned to face me, opening his eyes again as he sang the song softly and beautifully.

"And with a feeling I'll forget,"  he sang and my breath hitched because I knew the upcoming words. Would he sing them to me?

"I'm in love now," he said as his eyes locked with mine. Surely he was just singing the song. There was no way he actually meant it. He didn't sing any further.

We sat there in silence for a few moments before an idea popped into my head.

"Kiss me like you wanna be loved. You wanna be love, you wanna be loved. This feels like falling in love. Falling in love. We're falling in love," I sing back to him and he looked just as surprised as I did when he started singing. I had an okay singing voice but it wasn't anything special.

"Settle down with me and I'll be your safety. You'll be my lady," he continued the next part and I couldn't help but look into his eyes in awe of the whole situation. Was this really happening? Am I dreaming? Is this a fairy tale?

"I was made to keep your body warm but I'm cold as the wind blows so hold me in your arms," he sang amazingly and even hit the higher notes. I couldn't help but wonder if the lyrics of the song true to what he was feeling or if he just chose a soft song to sing.
