~ Chapter 5 ~

"Haneul, are you going to the party?" Sana asked as the two left the meeting room. It was the lunch break, so they had some time to talk.

"The one the CEO is hosting? No, probably not."

Sana looked at her friend in confusion. "Don't you have to though."

Haneul winked at her friend. "Actually, this one was optional since it's more of a family one."

"Ooh, okay. So what are you gonna do today?"

"You already know."

The two girls sat down at a table in the cafe. "Wait, what are you going to do?"

Haneul just smiled. 

"Did you get a boyfriend? Spill the freakin' tea."

"You expect too much from me," Haneul mumbled. "And no, I don't have a boyfriend. I'm just going to stay up watching Kdramas. It's a Saturday tomorrow."

Sana started blankly at her friend. "You know, for a second, I actually thought you had one."

Haneul laughed. "Anyway, are you going  to the party?"

"Nope, I have other things to do," Sana replied, taking out some money from her purse.

"Yeah, like hang out with me."

"Actually, I'm going to hang out with Mark."

"Oh, yeah. Your boyfriend," Haneul rolled her eyes.

"Damn, I knew you were jealous of Mark," Sana said. "I didn't know you liked me THAT much."

"omg, how did you find out?" Haneul said sarcastically. 

"I have my ways."

"Speaking of that, what exactly did you tell Mr.Na this morning?"

Sana's eyes widened. "Ooh, what should we order?" she tried to say.

"Sana," Haneul whined. "Please tell me you didn't say anything embarrassing."

"This cake looks nice," she said, ignoring Haneul's statement. 

She glared at her friend, giving up at her questions. 

"Fine, don't answer."

Sana gave her friend a smile and stood up. "I'll go order."

Haneul glared at her but nodded. "Get me this cake too."

Sana looked at her friend who was pouting, "You're too cute. Yeah, I'll get it." 

Haneul gave her a smile before watching her friend walk away.

While waiting, she looked through her phone and liked every picture that came on her feed. She laughed at a couple of videos before Sana came back. 

"So, I got what you wanted."

"That took long," Haneul told her before putting her phone away and taking a bite of the cake. "But it's worth it."

"Great," Sana smiled, taking a bite of it too.

The girls talked about random things until it was time for them to go. 

"We have to go before we both get killed."

"We probably should," Sana agreed, picking up her stuff and walking waiting for Haneul.

"Ready?"

"Yeah."
