"Damn, no need to be rude," Haneul glared at him.

All she did was kindly ask him if he needed help. She didn't understand why he was acting cold towards her when he just met her.

"Just go back to whatever you were doing earlier," the boy told her, packing his stuff to leave.

The baby continued to cry, and wouldn't stop. Jaemin didn't know why he was harsh to the girl. He was just extremely frustrated. In fact, he really did need help, but he didn't know what to do.

His parents called him a few minutes before he entered the cafe. They apologized for not spending much time with him the other night and promised to come by tonight to see him.

It was his parents. He couldn't say no. But there was no way he would tell them about the whole baby situation.

If he told them about it, he would have to tell them everything he does, and how exactly he woke up to a random baby on his bed.

Jaemin stood up, picking up the baby who was still crying. He looked at the girl who was just looking at what he was going to do next.

Haneul had to be honest. She felt bad for the baby, and she really didn't think the boy in front of her knew what to do.

"Listen, I just want to help. I'm sure I can make this baby stop crying."

Haneul didn't know why she said that. She's never taken care of a baby. She's never even been in a relationship. But she did hear Sana talking about being a mother, and she said that you just know what to do.

I mean, how hard could it be?

"I don't even know you," Jaemin mumbled, walking out the door, Haenul following behind.

"I don't know you either," she replied, waving to the cashier, forgetting about the food she had ordered. "But it looks like you have no idea what to do."

Haneul closed the door behind her, letting the cold breeze hit her. She kind of regretted saying what she said. She couldn't assume. For all she knew, this boy could be a well-experienced person.

Jaemin stopped, making her bump into his back. "For your information, I do know what to do."

There he went again, lying.

"It really doesn't look like it though," she raised her eyebrow, pointing at the still crying baby."

"Really? And what makes you think you do-"

Jaemin was interrupted by Haneul taking the baby from his arms, and rocking him around for a bit.

A random person would probably think she was crazy for just taking the baby from a stranger's arms, but she just wanted the baby to stop crying.

Jaemin just watched what she was doing. Luckily, the streets were basically empty since it was still pretty early.

He didn't believe her until the baby actually stopped crying. Haneul gave him a smile and raised her eyebrows.

After a few seconds of silence, Jaemin finally spoke.

"How did you do that?"

"I told you I can," she replied, happy that she could prove him wrong.

Jaemin didn't know how she made the baby stop crying in less than 10 minutes when he'd been doing the same things she has, for 3 hours

Jaemin looked down, contemplating whether or not he should do this. But in the end, he decided he should.

He looked up, meeting her eyes again.

"Look, I don't know who you are, or where you're from, but I need you to do me a big favor."

Haneul rocked the baby in her arms, giving him a confused look. "What type of favor?"

"I need you to take care of this baby."
