Haneul sat in the kitchen, thinking of nothing in particular.
Lies
She was actually thinking about what had happened to Jaemin. He didn't seem like himself right now, and she had no idea why.
Maybe his parents just said something unnecessary, like they usually do. It's hard to believe that Jaemin's dad was always someone Haneul was on good terms with. Well, that was before she knew he just did everything for money.
Currently, Jaemin was with Hajoon in the living room. They were just watching T.V, but Haneul could occasionally hear small laughs escaping the baby's lips.
She turned around to look at the two boys, and that made her heart flutter. She couldn't imagine how she ended up being with the Na Jaemin.
Okay, so to be truthfully honest, at first, she thought he was just another stuck-up boy who was just spoiled. But the more she spent time with him, she realized he was just like her.
Someone who just wanted love.
And honestly, he deserved all her love.
"It's not nice to stare," Jaemin mumbled next to her. She was too focused on her own thoughts to even realize the boy walking over to her.
"I-I wasn't staring," she stuttered, looking away.
"I'm sorry babe, but you're a terrible liar," Jaemin chuckled, wrapping his arms aound Haneul's waist and looking into her eyes.
She could feel her heart beat faster than normal, and it was all because of Jaemin.
"What are you doing to me?" she mumbled, hoping he wouldn't hear. But of course, he did.
"I think the real question is, what are you doing to me Park Haneul?"
Her cheeks flushed at the sentence he said, but she hugged him tighter, hiding her face in his chest.
Jaemin slightly laughed at her cute behaivor, and rested his chin on top of her head.
"You know Han, I really love you," he whispered.
"I love you too Jaemin," she replied, almost automatically. And she really did. Haneul would be lying if she said she didn't.
And even though she had thought about this a lot, Hajoon and Jaemin was basically the best things to ever happen to her. She would never trade them for the world.
The two just stood in the same position, neither one wanting to move any time soon. Haneul wanted to ask a question, but quickly changed her mind. She didn't want to ruin the moment.
"I know you're thinking about something," Jaemin muttered against her forehead.
"It's nothing," she tried, trying to change the subject.
"I know it's something. What's up?"
Haneul took a deep breath before saying what was on her mind. "Jaemin, promise me you'd never leave me."
Jaemin smiled, and shook his head. He would never leave the girl in his arms. He wouldn't even think about.
"What's makes you say that?" he asked, slightly confused at the sudden confession.
"I don't know. Just promise me you'd never leave me," she mumbled, a frown painting her face.
"I would never. Promise me you won't either," he said, his smile slightly smaller.
"Never in a million years," she replied, letting a yawn escape her lips.
The two stayed in the position, as Haneul slowly closed her eyes, and let sleep over take her. Jaemin held her up, and thought of how lucky he was to have a girl like her in his life.
But at that moment, the two just hoped their promise of never leaving each other would be kept, and never broken.
