Jaemin parked his car at his father's building. His mother had told him she would be there too, and that this was the best place to talk to him. But when he asked her why, she didn't give him a reason.
The boy sighed as he took the keys out, and opened his door, getting out. And to his advantage, there was almost no one around. Which meant no paparazzi.
And no Dispatch.
He smiled at his luck, but made his way to the front door, pushing down the feeling of going back. He had to talk to his dad. And hopefully, this would be the last time.
The sound of the door opening caused the woman behind the desk to look up. She gave him a soft smile, and called him over.
Jaemin returned the favour, and walked towards her.
"Na Jaemin? Your father's on the 10th floor."
Nodding quickly, Jaemin thanked her, and headed towards the elevator. He forgot how big the building was. But 10 floors wasn't much. He knew the whole building had almost 20.
Yeah, it was very big.
Jaemin entered the elevator, and watched it the glass doors close. He was able to see his reflection, and fixed his hair a bit, and his tie as well.
And eventually, the elevator opened, leading him to the 10th floor. He reached his father's door, but heard voices through it. But he was unable to hear who was speaking. Or what they were talking about.
Taking a deep breath, Jaemin knocked on the door. The voice he had heard before, became more muffled, as he heard footsteps walking closer.
And soon, the door opened to reveal his mother. She gave her son a small smile, and moved over, letting him in.
His father was sitting at his desk, papers all over the table, and files opened.
"Dad," Jaemin mumbled, bowing. But he felt disgusted at his actions. He shouldn't be doing this. Especially to a man that tried to frame him in order to tie a buisness deal.
"Jaemin," his father's voice boomed. "Why do you need to talk to me?"
Jaemin rolled his eyes. He was sure his father knew. He stood up straight again, and gave his father an innocent look.
"Well, I found out,"
Silence filled the room, and Mr.Na's voice got stuck in his throat. Jaemin's mother walked over to his father's side, so now, she was facing Jaemin too.
"What do you mean?" Mr.Na asked, slightly hesitant.
"I found out about your's and Eun's plan," he fired, anger visible in Jaemin's eyes.
"Who told you?" the father asked getting up. Heat was rising to his cheeks from the anger he had for his son. And the anger was because the stupid plan didn't work.
Upon hearing the question, Jaemin quickly glanced over at his mother, who looked away. Jaemin knew he shouldn't tell his father about his mother telling him.
"It wasn't hard to figure out. I knew all along. The papers? Fake. The marriage? Never happening."
Mr.Na looked away, a bit ashamed. Well, who wouldn't be? He tricked his son into thinking the baby was his. He should have known his plan wouldn't work.
"From now on," Jaemin conntinued, "I don't want you in mine, nor my family's life."
The room was quiet for a minute before laughter was head from Mr.Na's mouth.
"Do you really think you can survive without me? I own this buisness. I'm the one that gives you money. You're not going to be the next CEO Jaemin."
Well crap.
Jaemin hadn't thought this far. His father was right. He kinda did need the job in order to earn money to survive.
But before he could say something, his mother interrupted.
Dispatch really do be trying to find the tea 👀💅
