𝐁𝐀𝐁𝐘 ↷ na jaemin.

~ Chapter 30 ~

Haneul quickly went to the baby who was crying in the room. She put her hand over her heart as if that was going to help her heart to beat back to normal. 

"What are you doing to me Na Jaemin?" she mumbled, picking Hajoon up from the bed. 

Of course, she had the answer at the top of her head. Jaemin was making her feel happy. He was making her feel like she actually belonged. And he was making her crazy for him. 

And that didn't help her at all. 

Hajoon laughed seeing the smile that appeared on Haneul's lips, which may or may not have been because of a specific someone. 

She looked over at Hajoon and started to tickle him, making him laugh even harder. 

"I love you so much Hajoon," she mumbled, kissing his cheek. 

And she really meant it. Since he came into her life, it had just been fun and had been everything she'd dreamed of about having a family. 

She lifted him up and sat down, putting him on her lap. He played with her fingers as she spoke softly to him. 

"I'm going to try and be the best mother I can for you," she finished, not noticing Jaemin walking past the door. 

When he heard what she said, a smile made its way on his lips. He walked straight into the bathroom before getting noticed by the two. Jaemin couldn't hide how happy he was. 

It felt surreal. Even though Hajoon wasn't his own kid, he felt like he and Haneul had the responsibility as his parents, and he was liking every bit of it. 

Jaemin took a quick shower and brushed his teeth. He put some pants on and walked out to his bedroom. 

He was pretty sure Hajoon and Hanul had already left the room since it's been about 40 minutes, so he didn't bother putting a shirt on now. 

He took a step to his bedroom, but saw Haneul and Hajoon on the bed, playing with some toys. She was looking down, so she didn't notice Jaemin coming inside. 

"Shit," he mumbled, trying to walk back into the bathroom, but was too late. 

"Jaemin, you're not supposed to swear in front of the baby-"

Haneul looked up, but her eyes never met his. she stopped halfway, realizing he didn't have a shirt on, but it was already too late. "Crap."

The two stayed in that position. Jaemin just standing there and Haneul, well, she shouldn't really look away. No matter how hard she tried.

The baby made noises, making both adults turn to him. 

"Sheet?"

Both their eyes widened, realizing what the baby was trying to say. 

Haneul quickly averted her eyes from Jaemin to face the baby. "No, don't say that, are you hungry? Do you want some milk?"

She tried to make Hajoon forget whatever he just heard. The baby was picking up things too fast, and it definitely wasn't a good thing. 

Jaemin took this time to quickly get a random shirt and put it on. After doing that, he walked over to the two, helping Haneul distract the baby from the word on the tip of his tongue. 

"Milk sounds good," Jaemin agreed, carrying the baby, making Hajoon laugh. Soon, he put the baby down, letting him crawl around for a bit. 

Haneul got up and went to the baby picking him up and giving a glare to Jaemin who was across from her. 

"This is why we don't swear in front of a baby," she mumbled. 

Jaemin rolled his eyes, a smile on his lips. "And we shouldn't stare either." He winked at her before walking out of the room. Haneul groaned at his 'logic'.

"Jaemin that's different!" she tried to say.

"Fine, let me rephrase that," she managed to hear him yell. "We shouldn't stare, but you don't hear me complaining."
