𝐁𝐀𝐁𝐘 ↷ na jaemin.

~ Chapter 27 ~

"I don't even know how to react."

The four, well, plus the baby. were sitting on the couch, Haneul, and Jaemin across from Chenle and Jisung.

"Hyung, I really thought you were more responsible," Chenle said, rubbing his hands together, trying to think of a solution. 

Jaemin had just explained to them everything that had happened, and honestly, they weren't taking it so well. Specifically Chenle. 

"Well, what are you guys gonna do now?" Jisung asked. 

To be quite honest, they didn't know. Haneul looked at Jaemin who just looked back at her. They were both thinking the same thing. But they still didn't have an answer to his question.

After a couple of seconds of silence, Haneul finally spoke up. 

"I guess I'll take care of Hajoon for the time being."

When his name was called, the baby, who was playing on the ground, looked up as if it knew they were talking about him. 

Chenle looked over at him, a smile on his face. Who could deny Hajoon?

"You know," Chenle began. "The baby is cute."

"He really is," Jaemin agreed. "So does this mean your still mad at me?"

Chenle gave his friend a glare. "Yes, I'm mad at you. But not the baby," he finished, sitting up and walking over to Hajoon. 

"Ji, maybe we can babysit him some time," Chenle mumbled, making Hajoon sit on his lap. 

Jisung looked over at Chenle and the baby, and heat rose to his cheeks as he looked away. 

"Y-Yeah, of course, we can."

Chenle gave him a smile before turning to Jaemin again. 

"I guess I can somewhat forgive you for what happened. But right now, you two need to act like the best parents this baby can have."

After hearing this, Haneul nearly spat out the water she just drank. She should act like a mom, while Jaemin the dad? But weren't they already acting like that?

She looked over at Jaemin who didn't seem to mind what Chenle said. Or he just didn't hear. He cleared his throat, looking at Haneul. 

"I guess we have to be his parents."

Her eyes widened when he said that. Yeah, Chenle said the same thing, but when the words came out of Jaemin's mouth, it felt a lot more different. 

The two stared at each other for a while, forgetting about the other three that were in the room. 

"So, are y'all done?"Jisung asked, making them get out of their 'trance'. 

"They're already whipped for each other," Chenle mumbled, ignoring the look Jaemin gave him. 

They were silent again before Haneul broke it and spoke up. 

"I think I should get going," she said, getting up, but was pushed back down by Chenle. 

"No, you should stay. We'll leave," he began. "Let's leave these two alone," he finished, looking over at Jisung. 

"Of course," Jisung replied, standing up. Chenle handed Hajoon over to Jaemin before walking back to the front door. 

They said their goodbye's and was about to walk out when Chenle turned around. Jaemin already had an idea of what he was going to say but didn't stop him.  

"I for one, support your relationship. Even though you just met," he began, glancing over at Jisung who was giving him the look. He continued, looking back at the pair holding the baby.

"And Hajoon seems lonely, so why not give him a sibling?"
