Haneul put the menu down, and looked up, meeting the eyes of a boy.

"Jaemin? What are you doing here?"

"I just came to see you," he replied, sitting down. "And before you ask, Hajoon is with Chenle and Jisung."

Haneul didn't know what to say. Jaemin shouldn't be here. She was sure there would be someone from the office that would recognize him.

"You really shouldn't be here," she mumbled, making Jaemin's smile slightly falter.

"If it's about the public, then it's okay. Unless you just don't want to be seen with me," he replied, frowning.

"It's not that I don't want to be seen with you. It's just, there's already a chance I'll get fired. Rumors would just add up to that."

Jaemin sighed but managed to give her a smile. "I wouldn't let my dad fire you if you really want to keep the job."

A silence took over as Jaemin just looked away.

Haneul's heart beat faster as color rushed to her cheeks. She really didn't care about her reputation, but more for Jaemin's. But instead of replying to that, she decided to change the subject.

"I'm gonna order something. Do you want anything?" she mumbled.

Jaemin gave her a teasing smile before responding. "Just you."

"Please stop," she managed to say, rolling her eyes, but a smile was still left on her lips.

She stood up and walked into the line. People were already noticing Jaemin, but she didn't take much notice. The line was pretty long, so she would probably be here a while.

10 minutes later, she finished ordering and was about it walk back to the table when a tap on her shoulder took her attention.

When she turned around, a boy around her age was smiling at her.

"Hi," he said.

"Hello," Haneul replied, raising her eyebrow.

"I thought you were pretty cute and was wondering if I could have your number?"

Haneul froze. She didn't know how to respond. But another voice answered for her.

"She's taken," the voice replied, causing the attention of everyone who was there.

"Jaemin, let's go back," Haneul whispered, not wanting to make a scene.

"You're not her boyfriend," the boy said back.

"How do you know that?" Jaemin glared at him, ignoring what Haneul had said.

"If you are, then prove it."

Jaemin smirked at the boy before pulling Haneul close. Their faces inches apart. And before she could protest, his lips were on hers. He couldn't help it.

It felt surreal to her. She kissed him back, her hands going to her collar, pulling him closer. His hands went to her waist, holding her still. He smiled into the kiss, tilting his head slightly.

They seemed to forget they were in public until the sound of a camera brought them back to reality.

Haneul quickly pulled him back, but Jaemin's hand stayed at her waist. "There, I just proved it."

The boy gave a glare to the two before turning around and leaving the cafe.

Haneul took the chance to look around the cafe and realized that everyone had their phones out. Maybe Jaemin was way more popular than she had thought.

She pushed Jaemin's hand away from her waist before walking back to their table. And of course, Jaemin followed her.

"Why would you do that?" she asked, trying not to show how angry she really was. "I could get fired, and your whole reputation could be ruined."

"How many time do I have to tell you, I don't care about some reputation Haneul," he replied as they sat down.

"Well, unlike you Jaemin, I actually do."

That really shut him up as he sat back in his chair. The crowd that was there had slowly disappeared. And at the moment, that was the only thing Haneul was grateful for.

"They took photos, and videos," she mumbled, talking about the people who were around.

"But you have to admit, you liked it," Jaemin mumbled, his confidence coming back.

"Like what exactly?" she asked, looking him.

"Me kissing you," he winked at her.

Haneul felt the blood rush to her cheeks as she looked away.

"Just admit it," he mumbled, leaning closer to her.

"N-No, I didn't" she stuttered.

Jaemin raised his eyebrows before pecking her lips. He pulled back before seeing a small smile making its way on her lips.

"See, I told you," he said, standing up. "And who cares if the public sees? I like you Park Haneul. And nothing can change that."
