Surprisingly, the day wasn't too hard. Just extremely busy. After doing the documents, Haneul had to copy some papers, get her CEO coffee, have a meeting with the whole team, and then plan the next one.

She sighed while sitting down in her chair, about to do the last stack of papers, but the ringing of her phone stopped her.

Picking it up, she realized it was Jaemin. They had traded numbers a few days ago, but this was the first time he had called her.

She was actually excited to answer. Haneul was curious to see how good his 'parenting skills' really were.

"Hello?-"

"Hey, Haneul, I was wondering if you can come by? Like, RIGHT NOW?" But as he was talking, she could hear baby cries in the distance.

"Jaemin, why is the baby crying?" she asked, quickly standing up to pack her stuff.

"Honestly, I don't know why. Like, he won't stop," Jaemin managed to say, although it was hard to hear him.

"Did you feed him? Change his diaper?"

"I swear, I tried everything. I even looked online, but nothing works-"

"Okay, I'll try to come. Hold on," Haneul told him, walking towards her boss who was just about to leave the office.

"Sir," she said, catching his attention. "I know I'm supposed to stay after hours, but there's something going on, and I was wondering if I could leave a bit early?"

Mr.Na looked at her for a second but realized how stressed the girl looked.

"Are you okay?" he asked her, a bit worried.

"I'm fine," she said, but inside, she actually wasn't. She was kinda nervous since she knew Jaemin didn't know anything about parenting.

"I guess you can leave early, but make sure you get everything done."

Haneul had never loved her CEO more until now.

"Thank you so much!" she said, going in for a hug, but stopped when she realized what she was doing. "Oh, I should get going now. Enjoy the rest of your day." He nodded at her before leaving.

"That was awkward," she mumbled, bowing to him before leaving to get her stuff

After packing everything, Haneul quickly walked down the stairs, waving by to the receptionist before walking out of the building.

When she got inside her car, she started it, and drove out, hoping Hajoon was safe. She was sure he was, but, she didn't like it when he was upset.

She followed the directions Jaemin had sent her earlier, and finally arrived at a building similar to her own, but looked way more expensive.

Haneul parked her car, and get out. walking inside the building. When she opened the door. The first thing she did was head straight for the elevator.

Jaemin told her his floor number was 5 so, that's the number she hit. Finally, the elevator opened, revealing a long hallway, with numbers by every door.

"There it is," Haneul mumbled, knocking on door 127.

The door opened, but before she could process anything, she was pulled inside, hearing the sound of baby cries filling the room.

"Here, take him," Jaemin said, handing her the crying baby.

Haneul quickly pulled him into her arms, rocking him slowly back and forth. Eventually, the baby stopped crying, and just looked up at her, making her heart melt.

"I swear, this baby hates me. I've been doing that for the past 2 hours, and he just continued to cry," Jaemin said, getting a nod in agreement by Haneul.

"I mean, he probably does like me better-"

"But, he saw me first, so I'm sure he likes me way better," Jaemin told her.

"I smell lies," she replied, walking around with the baby in her hands. "Why is your apartment so big?"

"Well, I am the son of a CEO-"

"What was that?" Haneul asked, turning around.

"Nothing," he winked but was interrupted by the doorbell ringing.

Jaemin's eyes widened. He didn't think he would be getting company today. But he was sure it was no one. Probably just a delivery. But a voice interrupted his thoughts.

"Jaemin hyung, can you open the door?"
